Really upset Frida isn't cast! I thought she was awesome last year. Her BS pictures were one of the best. If I were casting director I would switch out Martha Hunt (filler blonde, do not see her standing out) for Bregje, Kelly Gale (Shanina 2.0, but like they say, the imitation is never better than the original) for Shanina, CBN for Frida (need I explain?), Sigrid for Shannan Click (she always rocks VS).

I have a feeling Lais will get at least 2 outfits! VS loves her! She didn't even have to attend casting. Hopefully she gets wings

I gotta say, it must be REALLY tough for the models that didn't make the show this year (especially ones that have made it in the past - Shanina, Bregje, Barbara P) to be witnessing all this via social media. It must feel horrible, especially since they probably feel they should be there too. I guess it's the downside of modeling, your work is never in your control.

VS must really love Lily to cast her again! I think this year was arguably one of the toughest to be cast (Frida, Shanina, Marloes, Cameron R, Barbara P, Bregje all didn't make it!). Yet Lily just slides by. Gotta love her.

Cara confirmed Lily D! Very happy that she's included. Erin is also seen in the picture above my post! I stopped by the set this afternoon and managed to snap a pic of the Pink Carpet. It was too cold so I didn't wait around for any of the models! Tomorrow I will try to get into the show, perhaps they might need people to fill seats *here's hoping*

Only Pink? Probably Elsa, Jessica Hart, Josephine Skriver, Sigrid, Caroline BN, Kelly Gale and Cindy Bruna. I think both Jac, Sara & Devon have a shot at walking other segments. Jac & Sara have both balanced Pink & mainline and Devon doesn't seem to fit with the cutesy Pink look IMO

Can we come up with a list of girls that are walking only the PINK segment?

I can almost guarantee 99% that Maryna is in. She has been working out with Sara. I just have a feeling that if she wasn't in she wouldn't be going so hard haha

Yes runway may not be Barbara's "thing," and she could be mainly a print model for VS, but many are forgetting that walking the VSFS gives models that extra boost of public recognition. How many models have you personally "discovered" via the VSFS? The fact that she could be on the screen for millions of people is HUGE. More public recognition can lead to more connections and interest in the model, leading to more jobs. Barbara had her foot in the door. Honestly she could have easily been cast if she looked the part and put in a little effort maybe a few weeks prior to the show to work out and tone up. It's very clear from many swimwear candids that she was not ready for this show. There is also the factor that perhaps VS was not impressed with her lack of HF work recently too. Is it the end of her career that she isn't walking? No. Was it a wasted opportunity considering she had it in the bag to be cast? Yes.

I am SO disappointed she won't be in the VS show this year. She is SO lovely and VS is completely cruel to not cast her. Their loss. I actually got the pleasure to meet her and she is VERY striking in person. VS seems to be testing the waters with A LOT of newcomers this year. I have a feeling this year they will put a lot more emphasis on the angels than ever before. They seem to avoid any models that could outshine the angels. I'm really not into this HF shift at all. Yes, I do acknowledge that VS has always put focus on HF girls, but at least they picked HF girls that were suited for modeling lingerie. Now it's all about who walked the most shows during fashion week. Also, my personal theory for Shanina's exclusion this year is that Kelly Gale was cast. They have a very similar look (BOTH are Indian/Australian mix believe it or not!), so perhaps VS wanted to test out Kelly Gale and let Shanina sit out for this year because of the similarity. Really not fair IMO. It just makes no sense at all why else VS would not cast Shanina. She has done the show for two years, she rocked it lat year especially (Monica Mitro said the editors were VERY impressed with Shanina), and they even gave her an additional outfit. They could have given ANY of the models in the show Lais's extra outfit.
