Its just a guess.... What speaks for the art installation is the impressum in photo 2 and 3...never seen anything like in a normal magazine editorial... normally you would find informations about the designers there...nothing here... I believe this photographer uses this serie as a promotion for himself as a fashion-photographer...but that are just my thoughts and maybe I'm completely wrong.

:hell yea!: !!! M.... great find! I suppose this is the art installation she told of at her Homepage coz "De Stijl" was agroup of artist from the Netherlands and they used the fundamental colors and cubism... quoted very well by these photos imho. And amazing how the make-up changed the facial expression in every photo!

Do really think these three picture were everything from the shooting? I would love to see any scanned pages of the magazine! And yep: Pics from Stil in would be nice, too....

Hi Ceylone, welcome in this thread. The rosner link is you've posted is great, we have seen very very little of this event in the past. I'm wondering if somedays the Madame Figaro shootings will appear also......

Good morning everybody ! I found a new really interessting site in the dephts of the web: http://www.modekultur.info/index_de/fashio...berlin-juli2008 They start to produce Slideshows for every show and today there is a new one for the Karstadt Award. I'm very sure they will keep there promise to put in the ones from Peric, S/G, KarenLy and *tatata* KH Weissensee as well. So check out this site frequently in the next few days... What makes me proud as Barbara Fans: Of nearly every walk Barbara did, it was easy to find photos in the internet coz newspapers and webpage-holders found them worth publishing! But as you can see at the slide shows...there are lot of more outfits from other models, I've never seen before...and I really had an eye on the "Berlin Fashion Week" -publications.

Well after all i read here, I'm happy i never visited the TM-Forum... And if could give Barbara a hint about languages: Learn Italiano...you'll need it

Hi there, that video from Scherer/Gonzalez ist really nice. But these special shoes were a bad idea, you only see the shoes in newspapers and only very little of the beautiful dresses. I found a nice video in a fashion blog, look here: http://www.fashionlab.de If there ist one point Barbara have to improve: Knowledge of languages.... Zotti: Relax, i think Barbara is successful enough and time will show...

I found this video from the Karstadt Award, it's quiet long (hope you all got a good inet-Provider) but you can see Barbara walking at 2:26, 3:40 and 4:42. http://www.tagesspiegel.de/medien/videos/sts1,1847.html I especially like the moment the cutie made his approach to kiss her and she had half a second reaction time (this wasn't planned -> little gangsta) but managed to put that adorable laugh on her face.

A size 38, -thx- they usally have 39/40, so probably these pair of shoes are private ones?! I saw sone KH Weissensee pics at spiegel.de and some at Reuters, but unfortanetly no ones with Barbara...

The Scherer Gonzalez - News are great. I just visited their Homepage and the collection will suit Barbara fantastic, I'm so sure! And a little more butt will not be the problem for that campaign.....

Chesterty you are so great in finding pictures.... Thank you so much! Do you know, from which shows the first 4 pics are? I Do like the short b/w dress a lot.... And did you notice : She is always wearing the same shoes.... Does she have such an unusual size?
  13. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
This is my first try to post an image here, hopefully i got the instructions right.... It's from the site Chesterty found, so thx. Barbara wears Marcel Ostertag, the winner of the Karstadt Award. What a difference to that Peric photos! She looks very girlish... But look at these shoes...aren#t they the same she wore for Peric?

That dress with the wild seventies brownish patterns is so gorgeous...Barbara should buy it (or find a sponsor).... Great wearable collection...perfect evening-dresses for a grand entrance....
  15. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Wow, these new pictures are gorgeous. The dresses are awesome and cut and color really fit Barbara extremly well. She looks strong and confident in them - what a differnce between that unlucky photo from frog perspective. Where have you found these pics, chesterty *curious*?!
  16. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Stupid question....it's printed all over the photo. Must be coz i only had my eyes on Barb!

I still haven't managed to learn about posting photos or quote them, so: I love the little black cap and the outfit she wore while walking for Audigier. Also I do like the hair when its plain and glossy (pssst: the walks for c+a) And I adore the noble swept-back hair she wore for swarovski The hairdo you posted is also really gorgeous, she looks like modern version of a middle-age countess....classy, innocent an sensual all at once
  18. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
She will get 1000 chances coz I usally love her face even if it is a bit rounder but don't ask what happens if i meet the photographer

The dress and the color is nice and I'm willing to arrange with the "exploded poodle" style of the hairdo due to a fashion show ... But her face : It looks like a shiny full moon with a slight beginning of a double chin. Sorry folks - i know I'm sometimes to sincere, but let's hope for better images....
  20. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
, Thx for finding it, reeyo, but to be sincere: That is the most ugliest picture of Barbara i've ever seen....

Thanks so much Chesterty for getting this italian magazine for us. I do like the pictres also, as Plain Jane said: They are quiet classy. I like the one with the wet hair, it's really different from the other pictures of Barbara. And it is very catchy cos of the strong contrast between the really carefully and proper painted lipstick and that tousled hair. I found a small german article talking very positivley about Barbara beeing this years ambassador for math: http://debatte.welt.de/kolumnen/85/fuenf+m...+lieben?req=RSS

WHHHHHHOHOOOW! These new pictures from Style international are really gorgeous. She reminds me of a wild indepent gitana/gypsie - child or a half-tamed cat ...proudly wearing some accessiories of civilisation. Love the expression in her eyes... I must confess that I always will prefer this style to that "nice girl nextdoor"-Style she had for Wrigleys.... THx a lot chesterty :hell yea!: !!!! I'm also very pleased that Barbara seem to be sucessfull in Italy. Perhaps we are not the only ones who can see the analogy to Botticellis Venus. And most Italians even of today adore that aristocratic teint and the beautiful long hair Barabara is having...great for her! And I'm sure it's only a small obstacle, that she is not listed in Milano. Peyman seem to like her a lot and i'm sure that IMG will help her in all possible ways...

Ooooops ..... sorry ... *quickly leaving*
  25. ahpe replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Thx for all your efforts, snuffy.. I'm also very sure, that we will see some scans in nearer future. News about Wrigleys were great, I'm happy for Barbara and hope she made good money with that job. And I'm also longingly waiting for some changes at Barbara's homepage and at her IMG portfolio as well. Does anybody notice that the neither Janina nor Christina seem to have a contract with IMG? The last two circles of GNTM all three finalist have been listed at IMG for at least 6 month....
