Here's your chance to ask Heidi a question (although it should probably be about Project Runway): What Do You Want to Ask the Stars of 'Project Runway?' 20 new fashionistas will watch their dreams come true, or their designs come crashing down, when the ninth season of the hit fashion reality show "Project Runway" debuts Thursday, July 28, at 9pm/EDT on Lifetime. Who will decide the fashionistas' fates? None other than supermodel Heidi Klum, designer Michael Kors and magazine editor Nina Garcia, all returning as the toughest judges in the fashion biz. Before they size up the contestants, Heidi, Michael and Nina will be live in Times Square Monday, July 25, to give "GMA" a sneak peak into the new season. What do you want to ask fashion's toughest panel? Fill out the form below to tell us your question, and watch "GMA" Monday to see if Heidi, Michael and Nina answer your question on-air! http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/mailform?id=14134822 (I'm guessing most of the questions they get will be "Why did you let Gretchen win?" )- Heidi Klum

Emmys: 'Project Runway' makes it personal, Heidi Klum says http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/awards/201...heidi-klum.html As an executive producer on "Project Runway," host Heidi Klum said she was excited by the show's recognition in the Emmys' reality-competition category and is looking forward to celebrating with the whole team. How will you spend today? It's very exciting; we are shooting today actually for the next season [in New York]. The whole gang, we're all together. We're excited and we're celebrating. We're gonna open a bottle of champagne. We have to have a little bit of alcohol. The original crew from "Project Runway" are all here together. We go back a long ways; we've been together for 14 years. We do celebrate a milestone throughout each year and different things together. It doesn't always happen that we're together to celebrate -- from the sound people to producers to the caterers, it's better because we're all part of this. "Project Runway" has had an Emmy nomination streak with similar other shows. Do you think it’s got a good shot this year? Against "Amazing Race"? You never know, it’s quicker to go than you come. We've been lucky. Now we've shot till Season 9 and we still have a lot of fans, and that makes us still want to do a good job. All these shows are so different, and all the shows are really great. In a way, we can't compete with one another really, because we have completely different shows. You can't really compare them in any way. I think our show is a low-budget show. It's more a documentary-style show. Compared to "The Amazing Race," and you know I also host "Germany's Next Top Model," and I can see that the budget for "Germany's Next Top Model" is much bigger, you know, we're traveling all over the place. That's what makes ["Project Runway"] amazing. We give only one day and a $150 budget for designers to design something. And I've had designers who say, "What do you mean we only have $150 and one day? I thought that was just [the way it was portrayed in] television; this is real?" But yeah, that's how it works. We are a low-budget show, but we're still a great show because it's still all about talent. "Top Chef" is definitely a version of "Project Runway." I hate to say it, but yeah, they are similar to our show. I think they kind of model their show after us, not to sound arrogant or anything. I actually, to be honest, don't watch any TV, not even "Project Runway." I just watch the cut and some parts of it, but I don't watch the entire show. What caught the voters' attention with "Project Runway"? Last season was the best season ever because we had a great mixture of talented designers. I don't think we had gotten as close and personal to the designers before, because their personal stories weren't as honest and open before. We were all just very touched by so many of their stories. For us, Season 8 was one of the best. It was the first year that we did a full 90 minutes. We can tell more about the contestants with that much time, and that's what made it a better season. What are you working on now? I have four children, so I'm either with my family or I'm working. I design, so I'm in my office a lot. I'm launching jewelry in September. I design clothes; I have a whole range on Amazon, and a perfume line coming out. I love doing it and being busy. I'm like a crazy maniac. You've hosted the Emmys before. This year Jane Lynch has the job; how do you think she'll do? I don't know her at all. I don't think it's fair to point fingers at the host. It's what's been written for them. When you host something like that, you really don't have any input whatsoever; you just read the prompter. That's why it's hard, because you've got people so harsh on you; they think it's not funny or clever or whatever, but you're just doing and saying what you've been told to do. People should point at the people who write that stuff instead.- Heidi Klum

More from last night's event for Hamptons Magazine: http://www.popeater.com/2011/06/30/heidi-k...kim-kardashian/ Heidi Klum: You're Never Too Old for Topless Tanning 'Project Runway' creator and supermodel mogul Heidi Klum has no reason to be shy about her bangin' body at age 38 and she tells PopEater that she thinks women should feel proud to wear a bikini -- or even less -- at any age. "I love tanning my body and I don't love tan lines necessarily. I don't think too much about what other people think or if they think this woman is too old to wear just a bikini or a bikini bottom. I come from Europe so I'm not American," Klum told us at Wednesday night's event for her cover of the biggest issue of Hamptons magazine ever at STK in NYC. "It is very different here than it is German or Italy. I grew up with men wearing Speedos on the beach and topless women on the beach at any age." Klum, who has a new line of sneakers with New Balance, has been running four miles a day and blogging about it on her new AOL site. Heidi recently went running with soon to be married Kim Kardashian but the pair didn't chat much about Kim's upcoming nups. "I don't think she needs any advice. She's so smart and sexy and she knows exactly what she wants," Klum said. Will she be invited to the big day? "I don't know," she laughed. "We'll see." Klum was similarly tight-lipped about the upcoming season of Project Runway (where Kardashian is guest judging!) but she did tell us things will be pretty fierce. "There are some bloody knees and fainting," Klum confessed.- Heidi Klum

Heidi is in the latest issue of Glamour: Heidi Klum on Why She’s So Happy! No one thought Project Runway would last, let alone change the face of fashion, but with its ninth season—ninth!—launching this summer, Heidi Klum has the life everyone wants: a great job, a thriving family and an adorable husband who worships at her feet. “Woo-hoo!” says Heidi. (That’s a quote.) Heidi Klum is seriously getting down. In between sexy poses for the Glamour cover shoot, the Project Runway host sings along with Missy Elliott like she’s starring in a music video (which she’s done, by the way, with her singer husband, Seal). Bopping around, smiling that famous smile, she just seems so…happy. And she’s earned it. Not only is Klum, 38, heading into her ninth season of hosting Runway, but she’s now a designer in her own right. She’s about to launch an QVC jewelry line, Wildlife, as well as a Coty fragrance, Heidi Klum Shine. Then there’s a New Balance partnership, two maternity lines and a new AOL lifestyle channel, on which she doles out advice and shopping recommendations. Oh, and she does it all while apparently having plenty of hot sex, even after six years of marriage (details below!) and four kids. In one of the few times she actually sits down during the day, Klum, dressed for her last shot in glitter pants and sexy heels, relaxes on the couch popping handfuls of red grapes into her mouth, her legs splayed open like a guy’s. Then she dishes on everything from bedroom fashion to Runway. GLAMOUR: Let’s talk clothes. If you could wear only one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be? HEIDI KLUM: Hmm, maybe my pajamas? I have a whole army of pajamas. GLAMOUR: And does Seal like your pajamas, or does he prefer you in lingerie? HEIDI KLUM: He loves pajamas! He’s very English, so he loves pajamas and slippers…. We start off wearing the pajamas, and sometimes they come off! GLAMOUR: Wait, wait, I’ve got questions on that later! But Project Runway first. Over the seasons, it seems like your critiques have gotten more forceful. Do you agree? HEIDI KLUM: I don’t think so. But I do think that I’m more comfortable now than I was during the first few seasons. Now I’m more at ease. I see the designers and start singing this song [snapping along], “Another one bites the dust….” I have more fun with it now. GLAMOUR: Has Tim Gunn ever given you style advice? HEIDI KLUM: He hasn’t. He’s so polite—he would never say, “Why are you wearing this?” Michael [Kors] is a little bit more…well, he always jokes with me. He says that my skirts are really short. He calls it fallopian length. He teases me. GLAMOUR: After so many seasons of the show, how do you keep it fresh? HEIDI KLUM: It’s really about the specific designers…. Of course, some seasons are better than others. One thing that’s stayed the same is that we eat a lot of Cheetos! We all have orange hands, though you can’t really tell on Michael, because it blends in with his tan. [Laughs.] GLAMOUR: How much longer do you think the show will last? HEIDI KLUM: I’m going to be 80, walking with a stick down the runway. GLAMOUR: You’re known for your bold fashion sense. What was your worst misstep? HEIDI KLUM: I can’t think of one that I hated. It always worked in that time and that moment. It’s the same with hairdos. When I was younger, I had a perm, and it was really big. My mom was a hairdresser, so even my dad had a perm! I looked like a poodle, but it was cool at the time. GLAMOUR: Is there anything that you’re bad at? HEIDI KLUM: There are many things! I’m bad at baking. I’m bad at letting go of things. I’m probably bad at reading. GLAMOUR: Bad at reading? HEIDI KLUM: Yeah! Sometimes I’m like, “What is this word?” And I start stuttering, and Leni [Klum’s oldest daughter] is like, “Mommy, you don’t know what that means?” And I’m like, “No, do you know what this means?” And she says, “No, but you should know. You’re the mommy.” GLAMOUR: You and Seal renew your vows yearly. What’s the story behind that? HEIDI KLUM: Well, my husband and I had a great time at our wedding. And I said to him, “It’s too bad that when we’re 90, we’ll have only this one time to look back on. So we should do this every year!” GLAMOUR: You also go all out for Halloween…. HEIDI KLUM: I think putting on a costume loosens people up. Put on a wig, and all of a sudden it’s like, Woo-woo! To me, life is about creating memories. The regular days kind of just blend in. You have to create special times so that you will always remember them. GLAMOUR: I read that you actually asked Seal out first. HEIDI KLUM: Yeah, I did. We were sitting in the lobby at the Mercer Hotel [in New York], and he came in from the gym. I was very attracted to him immediately. And I said, “Where you going? You should just stay here with us.” He said, “I’m sweating—I have to go take a shower.” And I’m like, “Good, take a shower and come back.” And he did. GLAMOUR: In relationships, were you usually the aggressor? HEIDI KLUM: I’m not someone who plays hard to get. This whole thing about “Oh, let’s exchange numbers” and then people wait four or five days before they call you? I don’t see the point. If you feel something, why would you let that pass? You only live once. GLAMOUR: Is there anything about Seal that you’d like to change? HEIDI KLUM: No. I learned [not to try] from my previous marriage—I was married for six years [to hairstylist Ric Pipino]. Seal is a very strong person, and so am I, and we let each other live our lives. GLAMOUR: Have you ever been hurt by a guy? HEIDI KLUM: Between my ex-husband and my husband, I met someone I really liked, but it turned out that he was lying to me. That really hurt. But now I look back and think, Was I crazy? Why was I crying over this stupid dude? GLAMOUR: The “Secret” video [which features Klum and Seal on a bed…wearing nothing] is beautiful. What was it like to make it? HEIDI KLUM: I had no problem having fun with my husband, but he was shy. When we were there in the bed, he was like, “Everyone has to go! I don’t want to be naked with everyone watching!” For me, it’s like, Woo-hoo! I don’t care. GLAMOUR: What’s the one piece of lingerie you think every woman should own? HEIDI KLUM: There’s nothing wrong with a nice garter belt. I’m not saying you have to put a pole up in your bedroom and start swinging off the rafters. But I love that sometimes! My husband and I just had a “sexy week” in London. I’d put on a super-short skirt with a garter belt on underneath so that when I’d sit, he could see it. It’s fun to sauce it up a little bit. GLAMOUR: When do you find Seal the hottest? HEIDI KLUM: Always. He’s even hot when he’s sleeping. He’s a beautiful man. He’s kind, he’s a gentleman, and I watched him last night onstage, and he still rocks it. I’m like, “Yeah, that’s my man!” GLAMOUR: And is there a look he loves on you? HEIDI KLUM: I got compliments from him last night. I had a fallopian-length dress on, like Michael says. And it was actually designed by Michael Kors! I was shocked, and I need to call him and tell him that he did fallopian! He copied my signature length. Heidi has another jewelry line in the making for QVC: http://www.styleite.com/retail/heidi-klum-qvc/ Second time’s the charm? German supermodel Heidi Klum is reprising her role as jewelry collaborator with QVC, and we’re betting both she and the home shopping channel have their fingers crossed (and their lawyers armed to the teeth) to avoid another big lawsuit. Klum’s new collection, called Wildlife by Heidi Klum, is all costume jewelry made from pretty stones and metal fashioned to look like lace. But when she did a collection in 2006, it was fine jewelry made of sterling silver — and the pieces looked a enough like Van Cleef and Arpel’s best-selling Alhambra collection that the company sued. That suit was settled “with no admission of wrongdoing” in 2008, and Klum had to stop selling it by summer 2009. This time around, tough, Klum has been a lot more careful. She told Women’s Wear Daily that she’s looking forward to being back in the jewelry game, especially considering a lot more people will be able to buy costume jewelry. “All of the pieces are statement pieces. The only reason to wear costume jewelry is to wear something large — something you can’t do with real jewelry because it would be too expensive,” explained Klum, who added she takes design inspiration from her trips to flea markets and the many collectibles and knickknacks that fill her L.A. home. Inspired by trips to flea markets? Just like the brooch in Iris Apfel’s costume jewelry collection for HSN that almost got her sued? Uh oh. This famous lady made-for-TV costume jewelry line is starting to seem less and less like a good idea. Take a look at Klum’s necklaces, rings and earrings (which retail from $30 to $200) below, and tell us if you see anything someone might want to take legal action over. The line will go on sale in September.- Heidi Klum
And this is from today: I never get too shy to take my clothes off! http://www.accesshollywood.com/heidi-klum-...f_article_49834 Heidi Klum is wearing nothing but a pink silk tie and a smile in her new racy ad for the upcoming season of “Project Runway,” but what do her style guru friends think about the host baring almost all? Access Hollywood caught up with the “Runway” stars at a taping for an upcoming episode of Lifetime’s hit series in New York City on Friday morning where they dished on Heidi assets. “I’m happy that I did not have to be photographed in a similar situation because I do not look like Ms. Klum,” designer and “Runway” judge Michael Kors told Access. “I think it’s fantastic… Heidi proves that there is hope for all women that are moms. She looks amazing, sexy with a sense of humor, which is very Heidi.” Fellow judge, Nina Garcia was in agreement with Michael. “How phenomenal is Ms. Klum after four kids!?” she said. “She’s amazing. I love it. Her hair, her skin, her body, she’s beautiful and nice.” As for the face (and now body) of “Runway,” Heidi herself was surprised that the network asked for an almost all-nude ad (Heidi is also sporting Tim Gunn’s famous catchphrase, “Make it work!” on her arm). “I never get too shy to take my clothes off, but I was a bit surprised that Lifetime wanted me to do that,” the blonde beauty explained. “As long as everything is not out and about,” she continued of where she draws the line. “I’ve never done complete nude, where you kind of see everything. It’s always good to leave a little bit to the imagination.”- Heidi Klum

To all the New York area fans and Project Runway fans: http://www.examiner.com/project-runway-in-...-project-runway Rare chance to attend a live taping of ‘Project Runway' ‘Project Runway’, the award winning reality fashion competition, is heading into its ninth season. After nine seasons of drama, designers and to die for fashion many fear that the show has nothing new to offer. But ‘Project Runway’ is out to prove that this upcoming season will be as fresh and new as it was back in 2004 when it first aired. For the first time ever in the shows history ‘Project Runway’ fans will get the unprecedented chance to see the show live as Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia take the fashion off the runway and bring it out to The Esplanade Plaza at Battery Park City in New York City. While there have been challenges from seasons past where designers left the workroom at Parsons the New School for Design and headed into the city streets for inspiration (or frustration, as the case may be) this will be the first time that ‘Project Runway’ does a public taping of an episode. ‘Project Runway’ has had no shortage of news and announcements lately. Earlier in the year the Weinstein Company announced the start of two new ‘Project Runway’ spin-off shows, the eagerly awaited ‘Project Runway: All Stars’ that will bring back designers from previous seasons of the reality television show and ‘Project Accessory’ which is currently accepting applications from hat, shoe, and jewelry designers. Shortly afterwards they released information on how to apply to ‘Project Runway’ and casting began. Just last week the start date for season nine was officially confirmed by Lifetime TV. Even more interest in the upcoming season of the show was sparked last week when representatives of Heidi Klum, host, judge, and producer of ‘Project Runway’, confirmed internet rumors that the nearly forty year old mother of four had posed nude for upcoming promotional ads for season nine. The public taping of the show will take place on Friday June 24th at The Esplanade Plaza at Battery Park, where Liberty Street and South End cross, in New York City the longtime home city of ‘Project Runway’. This public taping is free to attend but spaces are very limited. ‘Project Runway’ fans are asked to secure their place before hand by RSVP’ing to [email protected]. Check in will be promptly at 8:00 a.m. that morning and any late check-ins are expected to be promptly replaced by those on the waiting list. Taping will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia are confirmed for the taping. It is expected that Tim Gunn will accompany the new slate of designers as well. This will be the first glimpse fans will have at the designers who will make up the contestants for ‘Project Runway: Season Nine’. - Heidi Klum
