As a person who lived for years abroad, when you stay for so long and especially when you do have kids it is quite normal to celebrate holidays and culture you are surrended. But still you do not just like that forget about your roots-you celebrate your native holidays or traditions. Cook native dishes, teach your kids your language etc. Both cultures blend naturally. -
