Yeah, a pity that the photographer for Stile IN was not Monimix (or someone who puts his or her stuff on the Internet so one can find it) from whose shooting for the mag I knew that it is not a fata morgana. (And Monimix is a really good photographer I think). I am really pessimistic about the pictures too. If we should get them then my dire prediction is that it will take time....

Zotti: You are really funny (shooting Pro7 )! But anyway I am not too fond of Pro7 either. And by the way: I love your new Avatar (Ups have to say loved) and I totally agree with what you wrote about keeping less weight than feels comfortable. And Mima: I think there is no chance at all to get pics from the art installation. If it is a famous artist (which I don't think is likely) then it would be in the catalogue of the museum if there is an exhibition. But who would know where, when and and how to get it. Barbara won't get pics of that, highly unlikely. (A lot of if's there). About the lookbook I don't know. In times of Internet I think we have a chance to get it from the homepage of the shop /designer. And for the catalogues: that will probably take time. Also Stile IN which noone found in the Internet any information about, there we will have to wait until Barbara get's the pics because I think Haseblue didn't get them.... At least we know that there are a lot of Barbara pics out there and that she is really succesful, yeah.

I guess we won't agree in this point^^ I think the dress is not very flattering - but there is no accounting for taste, right? She seems to like it, so I'm okay with it in the end, too But I agree with Chesterty about Lena and Jenny Another question: is the "fashion show" tonight as well? Quite right, no accounting for taste, big grin here. (And I thought so only after looking at some of the standing pics in comparison with esprcially Lena's dress and also Jenny's. Jenny's I liked best on the pics where she is sitting). And in the anouncement on Lena's page it says the show is today.

Thanks a lot for the pics Mima. I think the dress is very 'Barbara' (she seems to like dresses like that) and in some of the later pictures it shows that it is really flattering to the figure.

Wouldn't she have written about something as big as Hugo Boss in her Blog? (I think so).

Dear Reeyo, I really understand (and share to some extent) your frustration, especially concerning events like Barbara walking on airoplanes etc. despite the photos we can expect (and which I love to have). But Berlin Fashion week (despite the 'we take GNTM winners' attitude) I see as a possibility for Barbara to be seen and to practice real runway shows. And last year she was really, really good. And despite the fact that many of her editorials where based on her winning GNTM they are gorgeous, she learned a lot by doing them (she was after all no model before) and she wouldn't have got them otherwise. Celebrity, Style, Material Girl are really good for her (and other rather succesful girls like Lena M. didn't manage editorials). So the winning was a good start for Barbara and but for IMG she would never ever had the chance for a casting for Vogue, Officiel etc. where she could really show that she has the potential to be a really good model. She learned a lot this year and when she says that in Milan there are many people who plan to work with her in the future then she really has a chance to work on her career. (And look at Hana's page these days who changed management and has heaps of agencies and has more than 3 years of headstart. Many agencies do not necessarily help). Still I hope that IMG and Face your Brand will do more and better for her in the future. And I say too: Go Barbara go. Your fans are rooting for you. You have got everything to be really succesful.

Berlin Fashion Week: Yippee!!!

Zotti, that was what I thought when I saw the second new pic. In this you see her face better and I only thought: God, she is sooo beautiful. @Zotti: Yes I think in some pics (among those the first one in the dress) she looks very highfashion-skinny or at least skinny enough. But after the discussions here in the thread I started looking at portfolios IMG Milan etc. and found that for most of those models (not the celebrities) we are talking really, really skinny. So skinny that those women are probably not fit any more. The exception are the quite young ones (14 and such) where it still comes natural, no hips etc. And as much as I want Barbara to walk in Milan I want it for her as she is now. She is thin but still very fit (see the Madonna pics, the pic from Style in the knitted 'bathsuit.')

Thanks a lot for your information. Even though the focus is not on the model (they want to sell something in all type of catalogues and not promote the model after all) it is really great that they have chosen Barbara as model. And if she has clients like that perhaps she gets to walk the catwalk for them someday too. She is really getting a foot into the italian fashion industry and that is great!

Well, you are wonderful! And we are waiting for the surprise with bated breath! (I at least). And I have also no idea what a look book is??? A catalogue? But then why not call it that?

Yuppidu, Barbara has actualized her homepage news and says that her stay in Milan is /was very succesful. She will stay until beginning to middle of July. We can wait for a new editorial, she shooted a look book for a client and there are many people who want to work with her. This is brilliant news. And like Nemezide I think the Style editorial is gorgeous. Barbara did a very good job!

The first was for Material Girl (still some of that editorial in her portfolio), the second for Young.

Yes we knew. Even her Pro7 page was actualized to that extent. It said 4-6weeks in Milan. I hope she has lots and lots of success and actualizes her homepage soon. (But as for Blogs: no news on Lena's who is in Paris and no news from Hana for more than a month. The Blogs are no garanty for news it seems).
