Hi everyone! You welcome Lye. It's nice to hear from you. The website "X17" has a video of Bar shopping yesterday in Beverly Hills with a man who they claim is her father but it's not. The gossip sites should get their information correct, like that would ever happen. The video is not working for me so I don't know if it's the link or my computer. Maybe the rest of you will have better luck. My friend the Leo fan told me that Leonardo was the Nickelodean kids choice award but didn't see any pictures of Bar. Hi to all the guys and gals here! Thanks to everyone who contributed all the beautiful Bar photos, links and comments! It's nice to get all the lastest information on Bar after being away for awhile. I saw the "House of Style" and Bar was great as a host. She definately has a future in televison. I'm disappointed that the program is only a one-time special. I thought that it was going to be a recurring episodes. Maybe if MTV gets enough positive feedback it will order more episodes? It's something to think about. Petralove; I love those old Bar photos. Are they from a photo shoot or just paparazzi pics? I've always been confused about that. At times it looks like Bar is posing but other times it looks like she's actually shopping. Shellars; Those party photos are awesome! I assume the party was in Israel because it assume Bar's still there. Do know exactly when the photos were taken? Thanks! Refaelishop; I checked with my friend the Leo fan and she told me that as far as she knows Leo and Bar are still together because they were spotted walking on the beach in Malibu the day before Bar left for Israel. I agree with you that Leo should go to Israel soon. I'm surprised that Leo's not there right now with Bar because he's not working. It's been exactly two years since Leo visited Israel so it's definately time to go back to his long-time girlfriend's home country. I also agree that Bar should stop wearing the leaf necklace so much. It's been assumed that Leo gave it to her so I can understand the sentimental value of Bar wearing it especially if her man's far away but it's getting old. I'm sure Leo has given Bar other necklaces so it's time to replace it. Bar's older brother's Neal's birthday was a few days ago so please give us any information or photos you night have of a birthday party. Bar has done a good job of avoiding the Israeli paparrazi's since I haven't seen many photos of her in Israel. Good for Bar that she's spending a nice and relaxing time with her family and friends. Hi and thanks to everyone for all their Bar info. You guys and gals are great! Bar looked beautiful at the Vanity Fair party. I liked the dress even though I could do without the straps but it was still pretty. I've been trying to find gossip about Bar being at the party but I haven't found anything. I found several websites that had reports and photos about the celebrities at the VF party but no Bar. The party was open to the media so I was surprised that I didn't read or see photos of Bar because we know she attended. I called my friend the Leo fan and asked if she had any info because Bar would obviously be there with her man but she hadn't found anything either. My friend did tell me that there were two sightings of Leo being at Madonna's Oscar party but they didn't mention Bar, but I'm sure attended. I didn't watch the Oscars and didn't care about their parties until I found out about Bar being at the VF event. Now I'm very interested about the VF and Madonna party. Hopefully we get some info on Bar and the Oscar parties in the coming days. This item about Leo and Bar was posted a few hours ago. I don't really believe it. Thanks so much shellars for providing the link to the interfaith interview with Bar and her father. It's obvious from the interview that Bar's father doesn't care if her future husband is Jewish. My friend the Leo fan told me that the man who claims that Bar's father told him that is a publicity hound. This guy Aaron Braunstein got interviewed by Star magazine when Leo visited Israel two years ago. Mr. Braunstein reportedly said he spoke to Leo in Jerusalem (how convienient!). According to Mr. Braunstein he told Leo that visiting a girl's parents means that the relationship is serious and one that might lead to marriage which Leo responded "Sure sounds like it." I'm paraphrasing because this is what my friend remembers of that article. Mr. Braunstein is the father of an actress named Natasha Lyonne. I'm not familiar with her work but she's the same age as Leo so it's a possibility that her father knew him but this guy sounds suspicious. Mr. Braunstein is a promoter who has a future international boxing event coming up and he just happens to mention Bar's father talking about Leo right after Bar gets named as the SI cover girl. What a coincidence, not! Unfortunately the media around the world have picked up on this story, including the Israeli media. It's shameful that this individual is using Bar and her family for publicity. What a loser!

It seems that Bar's family gets along great with Leo and I doubt they would pressure him to convert to Judaism especially since they're not observant. I agree that If SI thought that Israel was controversial it would have never selected it as a locale. You're right like always. I also think that Bar's was in Uruguay last week not this weekend. That was probably Bar's destination when she was photographed at LAX a week ago. It was nice to see Bar's dad with her on the photoshoot especially since she hasn't been to Israel in almost two months. Thanks for you comments sweetandlow! Hi Solange! I agree with you that Bar's personal life won't have an effect on SI's decision, I was talking after the fact. If Bar's chosen she might be pressured by SI or interviewers to talk about her man. I don't agree with that but that could happen. I know that some talk shows pre-interview guests but that doesn't mean that the hosts won't ask about personal questions even if the guests requests that they don't. Leno is pretty cool about that but Letterman will go after people especially if they don't want to talk about their personal lives. Letterman can be brutal. He's made some of his female guests almost cry. It's not just him but there's magazines, newspapers that are going to be interviewing. Bar just has to be prepared which I'm sure she will be. Unfortuately there's alot of anti-semitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the world but most of it is in the Middle East where SI won't even be sold. Europe is another place but most of those people are originally from the Middle East and I doubt SI cares about what they think. Bar is not religious, she said that in an interview, but she's still Jewish so bigots we'll hate her even though she's not observant. One of my Jewish friends told me that if a person has Jewish blood they will always be a Jew even if they practice or convert to another religion. Hi Everyone! Breaking news! Did the Wall Street Journal just reveal the 2009 SI swimsuit issue cover girl? They might have! In addition, a Southwest Airlines jet emblazoned with an image of swimsuit model Bar Refaeli will whisk VIPs to a launch party in Las Vegas this week. And, as part of a days-long Vegas celebration, stunt drivers sponsored by Nissan Motor will race cars on a lot adjacent to the Luxor hotel, with swimsuit models as their passengers. To piggyback on the unveiling of this year's swimsuit issue, the Southwest plane with the image of Ms. Refaeli will be unveiled this week at New York's LaGuardia Airport and will ferry about 100 people, including two dozen models, to Las Vegas. At first I thought it was the same mall from the earlier sighting but that was the Beverly Center and this was the Century City Mall, so who knows? I don't know much about Leo so thanks for the info, Solange. My friend, the Leo fan, told me that he didn't like to be bugged while out in public so that's why I didn't believe that he would give autographs. I have to call my friend out about that because she's wrong. I guess she doesn't really know Leo that well. LOL! I want to make it clear that I don't believe that Leo or Bar's criticism of Israel will have any effect on the whether she gets the SI cover or not. I was just repeating what my friend's opinions were. I only brought up a few issues that Bar might have if she's chosen as the SI cover girl. Bar definately has the right not to talk about her personal life. And as you pointed out, Solange, Bar will be criticized whether she talks about Leo or not. Hello Kerri! Thank you so much for the David Letterman S.I. article. So Monday is the day we find out if Bar's on the cover! According to the link below the models will also be flying to Las Vegas from NYC to on Feb. 12th to promote the swimsuit issue. Cool! That means that Bar and the rest of the models will have to be in NYC by this weekend. You could be right about the Walla interview being done while Bar was visiting Israel in December. When they showed the street and front of the restaurant it looked like it was in Miami but it could have been in Israel. Now that I think about the situation it wouldn't make sense for Bar to go back to Miami this month after being there last summer doing a photoshoot. Hopefully Refaelishop can clear it up for us! One has to do with S.I. swimsuit issue cover. This website says Bar has a very good chance of getting the cover. I saw ET and Bar looked gorgeous. The announcement should be coming anyday now. Maybe Bar was going to NYC on Sunday for that reason. From what I understand S.I. gathers all their models in either NYC or L.A. and then one day before the issue comes out surprises the lucky girl who got picked for their cover. I hope Bar's the lucky girl this year. The Israeli website Walla has a short video of Bar and Noam being interviewed in Miami. It was during their photoshoot for Fox clothes in August.
