Natalia Vodianova Wore Balmain With Unshaved Legs! November 2nd, 2010 Over the summer, blogs were breathless over an appliqued Miu Miu dress which managed to land four covers, but a gold embellished number by Balmain has topped that number by two. On top of that, Natalia Vodianova wore that same dress last night ��" and accessorized it with some gloriously hairy gams. Quel horreur! StyleList (who stumbled upon Vodianova’s hirsute stems via The Daily Mail, of course) had this to say: The Russian beauty raised eyebrows at last night’s Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year party in London when she lifted her glam gold Balmain gown and revealed hairy, unshaven legs, the Daily Mail reports. Total buzzkill. What StyleList calls a “buzzkill,” we’d call “awesome” because the idea of a supermodel mother of three being too busy (or just too indifferent) to shave her legs is music to our ears. No offense to those who manage to dedicate the time and effort it takes to shave one’s legs on a daily basis, but, well, we have better things to do. (Like sleeping in.) And more importantly: shave, don’t shave, it’s none of our business or anyone else’s. More, Vodianova’s unshaved legs actually seem somewhat in line with Christophe Decarnin’s punktastic Spring 2011 show for Balmain. And finally, when you’re wearing a dress as gorgeous, as expensive, (and as apparently in demand as this one), it really shouldn’t matter what you do with your legs.
