My name is Rita and I was an executive producer for “the Facts Of Life”... back in the day, when Stacey came to record the episodes, there were rumors that there was a planned album called “Color Me Cinnamon”, which had an 1987 release with about 11 tracks on it. Atlantic Records decided not to release it because they thought people would get extremely confused with the fact that Stacey would release another album, “Hard Machine”, which was completed by late ‘87 but was later re-edited and recorded because Stacey nor Atlantic weren’t really pleased with the overall result (really similar to Better Than Heaven, those master tapes must be so where around)... both the original versions of “Hard Machine” and “Color Me Cinnamon” were meant to continue along the lines of “ Two Of Hearts” and “We Connect” but weren’t approved by Atlantic... I hope to help those who are intrigued and who like Stacey btw promo photos were taken for both albums and I might have some... not sure though
