I'm disappointed. Looks like she was not at the VS show. Somebody said that she had other commitment. But at least she was considered in the final rounds of casting. At precisely 00:47 of this video you can see her picture on the wall with other models' pictures like Emina Cummulaj and Emanuela de Paula I think. If I was selling women underware, I would pick her as a model definitely.

People can sometimes take fame for professional success. I think Jeisa has had a lot of professional successes over an extended period and it is not over yet for her. But she has a relatively low key profile: she has not been dating Di Caprio or Beckham or any other overexposed stars and that is the main difference between her career and Gisele's. Also, there are no scandals associated with her like Kate Moss. In short, she is boring for tabloid editors. So she is not that famous outside the fashion industry. She is very good at her job put never tried to be famous like Paris Hilton. It is a full time job to try to be famous and some people prefer to do other things instead. To me, she has the rare combination of being an extremely beautiful woman and a great model. Some women have only one of those two features or none at all. By the way, the choice of the pictures for her card is unfortunate. You barely see her eyes which are her best feature in my opinoin. But everybody in the fashion industry should know about her so what the purpose of a card?

Her natural face expression is kind of sad. But I have seen many videos where she is smiling and even laughing. Especially when she interacts with somebody else. There is no fun to have with an hairdresser that does not say a word. If I were any good at video editing, I would do a montage of smiling Jeisa. I think I have found what is attractive in this woman face (and also Caroline Trentini's). They both look like elves with their pointy chin and ears, small face and big eyes. In a good way, it seems to me that they do not look human in that sense.

I think that is the greatest power of models. More than their real beauty. The unknown is greater that the known and the imagination fills in the blank. Since most people are positive, they imagine the best. In the end, this is what this industry is selling: a dream image. From where I am from, there is no chance I will get to know one of these models and maybe it is better that way. But I can help myself, I am curious just like anybody else.

I was asking if you have seen this picture before and/or if you knew that was Jeisa since we cannot see her face. If her name would not have been written at the bottom of picture, I would not have recognized her. Alzamendi, I think the same. But it must be harder to be an ex-boyfriend of Jeisa than the girlfriend after Jeisa. Nevertheless, I know nothing of her character. I had also the same thought when I heard that Axl Rose was at her birthday party. Considering his relationship with Stephanie Seymour, I can easily understand his interest in Jeisa since they have the same kind of face. But Jeisa is much more beautiful. She seems to avoid A-list stars for boyfriends. Good thing for her if she wants a quiet life.

Does someone has already seen this picture of Jeisa. It is difficult to recognize her but on the lower right side of the picture, there is a text in french. At the thirteenth line from the bottom, there are the letters "MANNEQ" which stand for mannequin, the french word for model. The next two lines are Jeisa & Fernando. So I guest it is an old picture of Jeisa with her ex-boyfriend.

Jeisa is the most stunning woman I've seen. She is less public relation skilled than Fernanda but my vote goes to her.

And you can hear a native portuguese speaker pronounces her full name also. She said that in order to be in the modelling industry, you must be very thin. A medical doctor calculates her corporal mass index. It is 15,32 while anything below 18,5 is said to be subnutrition. But I think she exagerates her height. She does not look to be 1,77 meter for 48 kilograms like she said. That lowers her corporal mass index. The video was aired on april 24 2005. She has gained weight since then. Anyhow, its a great video of Jeisa. My Portuguese isn't very good so my best guess...
