V.S. 1992 or 1993, my scan. I love that outfit.

I've seen this pic only super small, she looks amazing, thanks. VS was on a whole different level back then! Have you heard that the company has announced that they will not use the "angels" anymore starting this year?

    Yes, that´s the question. :)

I have only seen Christy Turlington in Missoni ads from the same period, I can't think of anyone else on top of my head, but the one you posted in definitely Stephanie Seymour

Thanks a lot.:flower: Honestly I also had doubts. But isn´t it strange beside all these other MISSONI advertisements Stephanie had in the same time there was another model?

You mean to ask if there was only Stephanie Seymour as Missoni model in that period, or if there were using another one as well? If that's the question, honestly I don't know 🤷‍♂️😉

You rock! Thanks so much.  Is your scanner by any chance one of those scan/print/fax combo type machines? Something looks funky even at the higher resolution. The best quality is with a dedicated flatbed scanner. The one I used I actually got for free from a friend, and the only issue is that it's not very big. Depending on where you are you could probably find a used one really cheap. The tech hasn't really changed or improved much in 20 years as far as I know.

Yeah, one of those, really sorry.... I did it at 600 dpi, added blur and reduced noise, but that's the best I can get to at the moment 😔

i have rescanned that one, and switched it, will do the same for the remaining ones as i'll get the time. I have some more catalogues of her, will upload them soon. Not the Spiegel one unfortunately, that would have been great to see

You'll thank me later, trust me! Here's another post from a few years ago with my scans, and in the post I said "600 dpi, no blur or descreening," which is maybe overkill, but no doubt the best quality:

    One more:

i have rescanned the Sante D'Orazio editorial, which was probably the most problematic since the rain in the editorial amplified those dots even more....should be a little improved now

Great content, ser_franklin, but allow me to give you some tech advice with scanning: If you're going to take all of the time to handle the originals and put them on a scanner, you need to be scanning at 300dpi minimum resolution, maybe even 400dpi.  Keep the originals, and then process another copy with a very subtle blur of only 2-3 pixes (I forgot the exact settings), which won't affect details but will eliminate the interference patterns of the dots on computer screens so the scans look good at any zoom level.

If you search my posts you can see examples of how scans look with these settings. Here's one:

Thanks for the hints and suggestions... Technology is not my forte 🥴, but i'll give it another go soon, since I have more scans as well 👍🏽
