She's sexy, skimpy and more than a little cheeky and loves flashing her bronzed flesh while sunbaking at her local sandy shoreline. Who's that girl you ask? Well she's the White Sands girl of course. And this season one of Australia's hottest new exports, Georgia Fowler has stepped her sizzling bikini body into the latest SS11/12 collection 'Supper Club'. Looking every inch the supermodel with her bee-stung pout, tousled brunette tresses and sultry stare, White Sands designer, Leah Madden believes she could be Australia's next Victoria's Secret Angel. And with mumma Miranda on baby duties, it could be divine timing for the catwalk star. "Georgia is definite VS material! She was very discreet about upcoming work so no word on it, but she definitely has what it takes," said Madden. Leah plans to debut the 'Supper Club' range at her inaugural trade show, SWIMSHOW Australia on the Gold Coast, March 23rd, along with White Sands' little sister bikini collection, Sandi. Never one to follow the pack, Madden has drawn inspiration from the pin-up girls of the 1950s and the über cool mods of the 1960s for 'Supper Club'. Dark and seductive prints in colours of cerise and charcoal have been transformed into sleek vintage styles, which Madden has become internationally recognised for. Splashes of nude tones have also been included for a modern touch. But when she's not applying fake tan to a bikini model's finely toned buns, Leah Madden is a busy working mother of three with plans to launch eyewear soon. This is your exclusive behind-the-scenes peek at the recent Supper Club shoot and first look at the final look book shots before it debuts on the SWIMSHOW runway this month. The latest collection is titled Supper Club - where did you get the inspiration for this collection? How did you come up with the name? It is always really hard to say where inspiration comes from! I am constantly inspired by beautiful things and a theme will evolve over several months. I really love the high-waisted shape, and structured bra style tops, so this season they have featured heavily, and works with the current 'ladylike glamour' theme which will be strong for 2011/12. You are known for your skimpy styles in sexy prints and lingerie-esque designs, what can girls expect from White Sands latest offering? Skimpy styles in sexy prints and lingerie-esque designs. You have the SWIMSHOW Australia trade event coming up on the Gold Coast - will this be the debut runway showcase for the collection? And how many other swimwear designers are showing? Yes, I am showing the entire collection for the first time on the runway March 23rd, very exciting! I think there are about 40 brands all up, so I expect it to be the start of something big. We really need an event like this in Australia so I am right behind it. Will you return to the Miami Swim Show this year? Absolutely, wouldn't miss it! I will again do an individual runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim, and spend the week meeting with buyers and media. Miami is always lots of fun and great for business. There were rumours you were going to venture into accessories with White Sands eyewear - is this true? If so, when can we expect to see this collection released? And what will be your signature styles? I am working on just a couple of styles, and hope to do just one or two styles each season to work with the current collection. This season the winged eye is what I am loving. Hopefully they will be ready for summer, but I'm a perfectionist and won't release them until they are just right. Previous collections you have starred Australian models such as Avril Alexander who now lives in New York and Tallulah Morton, this time you feature newcomer, Georgia Fowler in the lookbook - what is it about her look that fit the vibe of the Supper Club line? She is the perfect little lady! Such a sweet face, and amazing body! It is always such a hard decision choosing models, because we have so many beautiful girls here in Australia, but this season Georgia was perfection. What was it like working with her on set? She is a total pro, and such a darling. Georgia is constantly working internationally so she knows what is expected (I was lucky to secure her in between bookings in NY, she has just come back from working with Maybelline NY and heads off again next week). Georgia is going to be huge, she is AMAZING in front of the camera! I have zero tolerance for an attitude on set, and luckily every model I have worked with has been a pleasure. Talk us through the hair and make-up, styling and theme of this shoot? I wanted a look that was modern and sexy, but with a definite reference to the '60s. My brief was a slept in 'Do' and winged eye, but not too neat. This season she looks like a good girl, but underneath there is a suggestion of something a little darker. Ladylike, but maybe just a bit naughty! You have also been working on a younger swimwear label, Sandi - when can we expect o see this collection released? On the runway March 23rd. The collection has been lots of fun to put together. It is young and fun 'little sister' for White Sands.
