That could either be full-blown beat faces or all all natural look like 2015. Charlotte better give these girls some heavy make-up.

Just missing Adriana, Alexina, Gigi, Myrthe, Shanina, Yasmin, and Zuri for fittings now. Zuri has confirmed that she'll have her fittings tomorrow. Adriana is still in Miami, while Shanina is in London. Myrthe should be having her fitting tomorrow, as she just arrived in New York. Alexina is in New York, as are (presumably) Gigi and Yasmin. 

Herieth has gotten consistently better over the course of her time with VS. She's one of my new favorites.

I'm assuming they meant Winnie. I understand Nadine getting one outfit, since she was technically only supposed to have one last year anyways, but Winnie having two outfits is ridiculous. She's not that famous.

Also fuck VS for giving Winnie two outfits. Let someone like Megan Williams, who has been walking the show for a decent amount of time, get that treatment, not some piece of shit woman who uses her skin pigmentation to avoid being held accountable for her shitty behavior and attitude. They fucked up once by allowing her to even walk in the show, this is quite horrendous. 

Based off of what we know, this is how I'm hoping things play out this year.

 

Taylor opens the entire show, with Candice closing the segment (give Behati a bump of attention in this segment)

Martha opens the Chainsmokers segment, with Josephine closing in some giant wings and a good walk

Lais opens the third segment, give Adriana the climax of this segment, with Sara closing

Zuri opens the PINK segment, with Grace closing (Maggie gets a good highlight in the middle)

Behati opens the penultimate segment, give Candice the climax, and closed by Adriana (this would be a huge veteran emphasized segment)

Jasmine opens the final segment in the SO, with Elsa closing the entire show in her FB. 

 

I'm fine with Stella not getting signifiant highlights and then getting a lot of emphasis for her final show either next year or the year after. That just leaves Romee to get two good outfits within the segments. Hopefully some good internal segment features for Barbara P, Toni, Kelly, Sui, Ming, Shanina, and tbh the nepo girls, cuz VS needs publicity like it needs a new management team. 

 

After the show, the plan of Angels should be:
Send off Adriana, Behati, and Candice with the 2018 show, and quietly demote Lily, potentially inviting her back (a la Erin 2013) for a final show. Set up a new wave of vet Angels with Elsa, Martha, Lais, Stella, with Jasmine, Sara, and Josephine as the following wave, and Taylor and Romee getting prepped to move up to higher exposure. Lais or Stella should have gotten the show opening, now that I think about it. 

 

Give the remaining senior NA the FB next year (either Martha or Elsa, depending on who actually gets the FB this year). Keep the NAs the same for the next two years, then give Elsa, Martha, Lais, and Stella proper send offs, with Sara and Jas getting one final year as the head Angels. By the time Elsa and co. exit, two or three Angels should be added with Romee and Taylor rounding out the Angel line-up. 

 

Elsa should probably get heavy featuring in the 2019 show and leave following that. I'd probably give Martha the FB in 2019, to keep her contending with Elsa, then send her off in 2020. Lais and Stella should get show openings / closings / Swarovski outfits (best of all, three outfits) during this time as well, with Sara, Jas, and Jo getting solid opening slots and great outfits / featurettes / big wings, while Taylor and Romee are used heavily for advertising.

 

Have Lais and Stella exit in 2020 with Martha, with Sara or Josephine getting the FB, with the one not wearing it getting it for 2021. Jasmine should probably get the show opening by 2020 and Taylor or Romee getting the SO / show closings. New Angels would be good to introduce after the 2020 show (Grace? Zuri? Lameka?). As they are built up in the years following, Taylor and Romee will have reached their peak Angel stardom and utilized well alongside with Jasmine, Sara, and Josephine eventually moving towards veteran status and concluding their contracts. 

Personally, I am kinda bummed about Taylor opening the show. I'd give her one more regular opening and then go from there. The opening should be a huge, explosive entrance. Taylor doesn't have that energy that someone like Jasmine, Candice, or Adriana have. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, but damn what a missed opportunity they had with using either Behati or Jasmine. Even Josephine would be a better alternative. 

 

I am holding out faith that ABC edits this show well. The performers aren't terrible. I am praying VS gets some common sense and does what Etam did a few years ago and has the singer on a different stage, rather than directly in the way of the models on the runway.

Honestly, the way that VS has been marketing her, she probably should have some nice outfits and something special to push her to greater publicity. I would be confused if she wasn't at least given an opening or closing. Perhaps she was expecting the FB or show opening and wasn't given it. I would much rather give Jas and Lais stuff, but VS doesn't seem to know how to utilize them properly in the show and Josephine has reaped the benefits of that, unless VS fucked up for the umpteenth time and is putting their energy towards another girl and completely disregarded the trajectories of the girls they have been plugging for the past three years. However, I doubt we can make assumptions of this caliber based solely off of Jo's facial expressions. It's probably cold, paparazzi are overbearing sometimes, and we don't know of any other factors they may have affected her mood that day...

She has been marketed as an Angel for nearly a decade and has the Adam Levine relationship to flaunt. She's arguably the second / third most famous Angel at the moment (obviously behind Adriana, potentially on par with Candice). 

Behati has a genuine media presence, so giving her the Fantasy Bra makes perfect sense. They would kind of throw off the trajectories of a bunch of the other Angels, so I could see her not getting as well. 

Did fittings even happen today? It seemed like literally none of the girls besides Devon were anywhere close to the VS HQ.

I don't think Lorena is the best model, but she could very well end up in mainline. A lot of girls this year are PINK material instead of mainline, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone with a relatively mature look like hers got placed in mainline. 

Plausible options: Adriana, Behati, Candice, Elsa, Josephine, Martha, Stella, Taylor

Dark Horses: Romee, Sara

Unlikely: Lais, Jasmine (could technically be a dark horse)

If Maria is in fact coming back this year, I would assume that a girl who had a spot reserved for her is not attending. My guess would be Karlie? 

Been a while since I was on here lmao. Everything is weirdly quiet this year. I'm expecting low viewership since VS genuinely has not been giving any exciting updates about the show at all and it's less than two weeks away. However, disregarding the business concern of things, I kinda dig the secrecy surrounding everything from a fan perspective.

 

Right now, I could see VS giving this bra to literally anyone but Lais and Jasmine. If VS actually had marketing strategy, they would've shown Elsa more last year to give her another media boost with a FB this year, but they're idiots anyways so I don't necessarily weigh that as limiting her chances. Josephine seemed to be the only one poised for one, but Behati coming back throws that theory into limbo since both were at peaks in their last shows. Martha, Stella, and Taylor are all potential spoilers, with Sara and Romee being dark horses and Candice / Adri being toss-ups.
