    thank you SO infinitely much for that vid. it is 10000X better than the CBS version, imo. i love how we get to actually see all the models walk. . without all the choppyness and cutting..

    undoubtably for me Karolina, Gisele, Naomi and Tyra have the best walks.

    Natasha Poly's is great too, and Fernanda Tavares, Angela Lindvall, etc. there are a lot of good ones.

    i thought that Selita's looked good on tv, but in this one you can see it's not so great.

    anyway, the vid is incredible. so thanks again! and thanks to the "mystery person" who sent it to you!

    i am SO happy to see KK back in the magazines.. .its been too long without editorials. she looks ridiculously stunning!

    yeah she's gorgeous --- obviously.

    but i just feel like she's not UNIQUE looking. . .. like, she's sorta boring, doesn't really stand out. her body is off the charts and her face is beautiful, but there's no "ooomph" like there is with a Gisele or KK or Fernanda or Adriana, imo.

    but her reps are really trying to turn her into the next big thing.. doing big things at VS and on the runways. i just think it'll prove to be a futile effort.

    maybe i'm wrong though - in any interviews i've seen, she seems really nice and down to earth (though almost ALL of the brazilians do.)

    WOW. . .just look at Naomi's skin.

    Gemma is beautiful, but i don't think i've ever seen skin as beautiful and flawless as Naomi's. whatever $800.00/ounce products she's using are certainly working. look at that glow. its unreal. and in a candid!!

    miss thang OWNED Victoria's Secret and SI, and is truly one of the main reasons why VS became such a household name. She contributed as much to that company's success as any other model before or since.

    i really hope that KK makes it onto the cover of People's Best Dressed Oscar Style issue...

    she genuinely deserves it. she was hotter and more beautiful/glamourous than most, if not all, of the actresses. she should be on the best dressed lists.

    and i think it'll really help bring her even more into general public awareness. it really only takes a few pages and notes on how gorgeous she is for people to really notice. something as simple as this can ultimately turn into a cosmetics contract.

    she looks ridiculously gorgeous.

    and for those who doubt that she's a genuine SUPERMODEL ---- please point me to the pics of Gemma/Hana/Natalia/Marisa, etc etc having EVER been invited to the actual Oscar ceremony.

    okay -- i'm as big a fan of KK's as it gets, so i'm certainly not disputing her being on that list. . she IS and icon and a modern supermodel.

    but to say that Naomi ISN'T an icon is actually nothing short of complete ignorance. she's been one of the top 5 supermodels for over 15 years. she still works and has multiple covers each year. SHE HAS 52 DIFFERENT VOGUE COVERS.

    "icon" is a word that was created for people like Naomi.

    maybe you think she is hideous and deformed and an totally over-rated model --and that's totally fine, since we're each entitled to our own opinion, but Naomi's status as an "icon" is more than opinion, it is a FACT.

    ^^^^^^ the VS catalog is different.

    the poses are all pretty similar . .. it's just not as fun or special.

    i don't think price comes into it -- i'm pretty sure that KK would do it for free. she definitely has enough money and the exposure could do nothing but GREAT things for her career.

    i think it must be a stipulation within the VS contract that their particular "Angels" (Gisele, Adriana, Karolina, Alessandra) aren't allowed to do other swimsuit mags. . . but it doesn't make sense to me.

    anyway, i'm not complaining tooooo much. i LOVED seeing Rebecca and Daniela again.

    BUT, the pictures were really crappy this time around. the photography was totally BLAH. remember how great the photos were the year Rebecca was on the cover???? "The Not So Virgin Islands". . . .the pictures really reflected the backgrounds and the locales. this time, they're totally boring. Even the issue when Daniela had the cover (2000 i think) and they were photographed all over Greece, those pictures were AMAZING. the photography was off the chain.

    i was really let down by the SI issue for the past like 3 years.

    okay . . .. so if this is the criteria:

    "those 15 working "icons" of the moment (defined as celebrity models with public recognition, established longevity and a major magazine cover within the last 3 years)"

    fine. i'll agree that adriana is not high fashion.

    however, in 2003 and 2004, Eva Herzigova had the 2 biggest years of her entire career. she was in the Burberry, Louis Vuitton and more campaigns. She had International Vogue covers. Maybe in the past year she hasn't done as much modelling, BUT, she's still been in editorials in US and Italian Vogue, and she's doing the Alessandra Dell'Aqua ads, and launched her own swimwear line, was at the opening of the Olympic Games, etc etc.

    she is definitely High Fashion, AND also one of the most successful commercial models since 1990. longevity is not even possible to question.

    erin wasson???? blecht.

    i'd easily easily put even someone like Jaquetta Wheeler above her.
