i would be very curious to know about Eva Herzigova. she is not so famous in north america, but i think she is a kind of fashion icon in Europe. is this true? what about right in the Czech Republic -- who would be more famous, Eva Herzigova or Karolina Kurkova?

here in Canada (at least eastern canada), if you asked the "general public" which models they would know, i think that they'd know Cindy, Naomi, Kate, Tyra, Heidi, Claudia, Niki Taylor, and that might be it. some people might know Iman, or recognize the name at least. also, i think more and more people would know "Gisele", but even people like my father who knows absolutely NOTHING about fashion or celebrities knows Cindy, Claudia and Tyra.

That quiz is really cool! thanks super!! must say, though, there are a few errors. #2 -- KK was NOT a "star basketball player", her father was. #10 -- KK certainly has had a spread in ELLE magazine. i don't know exactly what "center spread" means, so perhaps this isn't an error in the quiz. anyway, here's the edit. haha. (it's one of my favourites of her). #12 -- KK definitely was on both Jay Leno AND Oprah.

OH wow!! and these ones are great as well. i LOVE the last one, the close-up of KK's impossibly stunning face. her skin is soooooooooooo pure and creamy. she's so staggeringly beautiful. i'm blown away.

she's perfect for Betsey Johnson. that's a runway that Adriana made it down a few times as well. she should leave the haute couture to Gisele and KK though. (if only they'd return to it...)

i LOVE that edit from French magazine. it's sooo sexy!

she's simply INCREDIBLE. she was and is still a magnificent model. i don't know of anyone else who was so great at dynamic poses. (perhaps Gisele). her body and her curves are out of this world. and she STILL looks better than 90% of the models half her age. incredible.

LMAO! first, i am a HE. second, i meant ME. haha. i wasn't really a Doutzen fan before... always thought she was pretty. she DEFINITELY caught my eye in the 2005 VS show. but then ..meh. however, after going through the past several pages and seeing that L'Oreal commercial, etc. i think she's poised for stardom.

oh wow. that Versace runway pic with the Marilyn Monroe dress ... simply breathtaking. perfection, right there. no matter what, Naomi always maintains something glamourous about her. it's a mixture of sensuality, sexuality and danger. very very few of the models today have anything similar. even my favourites like Gisele or Karolina are lacking in the "danger" category. but there's something intrinsically sexy in a woman who evokes a sense of that. Naomi, Eva H, Kate. sexy and glamourous.

ooooooh. KK and Heidi together, eh? that'll definitely be hot! i think they compliment each other's looks. (though not nearly as much as KK and Gisele. those 2 women look SOOOOO gorgeous together. they really bring out the best in each other).
