Last week, on her InstaStories, Andreea announced that she has been admitted to the Columbia University.

It would be great if she would opt for DNA. She is a versatile model, but the work she gets under IMG is almost the same every year (few editorials in Vogue Paris, H&M ad campaigns etc). I don't think she will quit modeling any time soon, maybe she doesn't like this trend of being a celebrity-model: calling the paparazzi, social media game, dating someone famous, but she definitely enjoys working with creative people, charity and activism.

ANDREEA DIACONU – FLASH INTERVIEW If you could have anyone in the world over for dinner, who would you invite? David Sedaris or Rebecca Solnit. Name three things you and your partner (or pet) have in common. We have everything in common since we’re all the same and one. What do you value most in a friendship? Honesty, openness and insight into oneself. How much does your neighborhood define who you are? As much as anything else I guess, not at all. Which would be the first thing you’d tell a stranger about you? That sometimes I’m mercurial. Or used to be and that’s the scariest part of me. What’s that feeling you have when you’re on your surfing board? Openess with the ocean and the universe in general. It’s the best. What would you never give up? I don’t understand the question? I think letting go is a great skill though. What’s your most treasured memory? All my times in the woods or the ocean and feeling loved. What’s the scent you associate the most with your childhood? Pine tree syrup and clatite (Romanian-style crepes, n.b.) If you were to say only one word about yourself, knowing that it would be the last word you could ever tell, which would that be? Haha! Shot in the Penthouse at One Hundred Barclay, these women share their personal stories of breaking free from the constraints of the industry and how they have grown into strong, independent, fearless women. “The FW17 campaign is about these six women being able to find peace and contentment with themselves in a chaotic world that constantly keeps them on their toes. I wanted to capture the collection the way that I see it during fittings and during the creation process. It helps to better explain why I create the clothes that I do, which are meant to enhance a woman’s personality, goals, talents, and desires -- never to outshine her.” -Brandon
