I don't think modells nowadays want to grow old as modells (maybe because they don't want to become so wrapped up in the fashion industry and desperate by their forties that their first thougth is to get their baby into modelling).

Chineese Vogue celebrates its 100th issue, and they're releasing a big editorial. Maybe she is doing something for Vogue China. And I don't understand appleauto why are you saying this was a bad year for her. She got the L'oreal contract this year (she did at least 8 campaigns with them, that means cosmetics commercials on national televisions all over the world, she did a GAS campaign, a MAVI campaign, VS catalouge and commercials, INTIMISSIMI commercial, and editorial in 3 or 4 Vogue, Harpers Bazaar UK cover, etc). She earned a lot of money. Check models.com before you say something like that. I'd say this was her best year so far. She is one of the best earning commercial girls despite her young age, and she has a lot of potential.

Maybe it is a stupid question, but when was Cara casted for the show. She wasn't at the casting or at the callback, and she wasn't at the fittings, just the rehearsal. When did they choose her? Was it just an aftertought and was she picked at the last moment, or was she picked months ago? How does this works?

Are we absolutly sure of Erin's non-angel status? Are her contract negotiations over? And will there be a new angel soon? Lais? Who's contract does end this year or in 2014 too? Are any new girls angel-materials?

I have some conspiracy theories about this shit that went down with the casting I wasn't gonna post, but what the hell...there is enough room for one more crazy person in this thread, so here it is. I think she looks the same as last year (that is her brand: healthy, curvy, soft), and she was used so much then because of the Bieber-stuff (not that they dated or something just their managemant was friendly with each other), and I have a hunch that this year T-Swift will perform and she and her management doesn't want her, or something with Brett (Shanina is missing too). But we'll never know.

She was in LA shooting River Island during the casting. If she had to be in NYC she would have been there, trust me. Either she is in without casting or they didn't even invited her for the castings because they knew they didn't want to use her. Please don't spread those kind of rumors about being unprofessional because it's not true and i actually think it can be damaging. It is one thing to criticize the pictures and the ads, but saying that she is not caring about getting a job is just wrong.
