Let me say that I like Karlie, I just like her better with her clothes on. Karlie will not add life to VS horrible lineup. They just need to clean house. Me personally would have prefered Barbara because she's petite(well more than the average model) and curvy which brings me to the question of who Karlie is marketed to. All of these love your body and dove campaigns that have been popping up are about complaints about models who look like Karlie. A lot of female consumers are sick of looking at models who look like her. I'm sick of it. I didn't like Chanel for that reason and I hate how much weight Candice has lost. It's one thing to have emaciated looking girls on runways, another to try to give sexy face in lingere. I can see who the other girls besides Lindsey and Ale are marketed to. Karlie is lost on me. She's gonna be a fail like Chanel, I'll deal though.

I can't say what was worse about this collection, the clothing or the models. Looks like nasty gal stuff.

Wasn't Chanel removed from vs all access? I just noticed(if she was removed) that she's back on there. I would sooo go to see Candice and Lily but unfortunately I'll not in the city at the moment. I also think Lindsay is quite pretty. She looks like a doll to me, but she is photoshopped heavily in her face. They get rid of that unslightly vein on her forehead and the massive wrinkles under her eyes. I know they photoshop all the girls but it seems to me that she and Erin are photoshopped the most in the face. Some of her freckles are wiped off and they also try to make some sense of that catastrophe that is her nose.

You can't take someone else's spot. There are but so many and if you don't make it you don't make it. And what different markets is Sara talking about? She and Sharam both hawk to the bra and panties crowd. She sounds sour at the fact that she wasn't chosen and Sharam was and is trying to come up with some super secret exclusive reason as to why she wasn't chosen.

Are you stuck in 2010?"Angels" is just a fancy way to say "somewhat exclusive spokesmodel". Lindsay, Erin, Lily, Chanel, Candice, Behati & Rosie are/were all Angels. There are times when VS stops using such and such model before the end of the contract (Heidi, Marisa, Rosie, Chanel, Izabel...) and other when they use the pics even after the model is released from her contract (Selita), some even disappeared only to come back later on (Lindsay). The years on the contract, the paycheck and all are irrelevant. Gisele was reportedly paid 25M$ by VS for 5 years (and stayed more than six) whereas Karolina or Izabel made less than 1.5M$ in a year, VS and otherwise. The contracted Angels are on VSAA, the active ones are on the "Angel line-up" for the show. And Emanuela missed her chance back in '09. I doubt they'll go after her. As far as whose contract is up, it seems only Chanel will be dropped soon (more like has been already, lbr), maybe Alessandra too. Lindsay and Candice were contracted around the same time as Rosie and they're still there, Erin isn't going anywhere, Lily probably isn't either. I have given up on tracking Adriana's contract dates since it changes with every interview. Miranda, Doutzen and Behati probably have some years left on their contracts if the dates are true.

What angels have been fired? I just thought that they would leave once their contract was up. Lindsay was just doing promotions with Erin on GMA and she got more pictures in the swim catalog this year.

First time post, yay. Does anyone know whose contracts are up this year? I have heard that Alessandra's, Candice, Lily and Erin's are. Maybe Behati and Lindsay? I agree with that post from tfs except for I don't think VS will drop doutzen anytime soon. After watching the last show online, I think Alessandra will be gone before her. She was just.....there. I have read that the "official" angels are adriana, miranda, alessandra and doutzen and get 5 year contracts and the bombshell contracts are for like 3 years. Which doesn't make sense to me since chanel was only an angel for two years. And it is too late to get in a vote for Emanuela to be an angel? I love her so much more than Lais.
