Hello My son is a huuuuge fan of Minecraft and I was just wondering (as an old boomer haha) is it still relevant in 2023? How many active players are there? Want to hear feedback from a younger generation

I started playing it in college, and years later, I still hop back in with my niece and nephew. They're super into creative mode and keep showing me things they built with mods I've never heard of.
