Featured Replies

Does anyone know who the model is on the packaging for the boscia Fruit Acid Smoothing Foot Peel?

Here are the images for reference:

Update after a long gap, with some findings that likely apply here too

Since I last posted I've done a lot of work on boscia's video output in a related thread, and some of it bears on this packaging question.

First, a clarification on scope. The Baby Soft Foot Peel launched in October 2016 (source), and the packaging was redesigned later. On the original version, photography appeared only in the panel underneath the fold-out flap (the outer box used illustrated artwork in a Japanese style rather than a photo). The later packaging uses photography on the outside as well. What I'm after here is the model on the post-2018 version. I'd like to work out the original inside flap model eventually, but one at a time. There's an earlier version with what appears to be different photography, and I'd like to work that one out eventually, but one at a time.

What I've checked on the packaging photos specifically:

  • Reverse image search on Google, Yandex, and TinEye; no matches, only visually similar stock results

  • Stock library keyword searches; nothing corresponding

Why I don't think this is licensed stock: the inside flap photos show the boscia product itself in use. Stock libraries don't carry images of a specific branded product being applied, so these had to be commissioned for boscia rather than bought in. That means real booked talent, not an anonymous library image.

The outer and in-fold photos may well be from the same shoot (hard to say for certain from print reproduction, but there'd be no obvious reason to commission two separate ones).

What that probably means for identifying her: in the other thread I traced one parts model on a 2018 boscia video, that being hand work on the Matcha Magic mask spot, to Bella Agency in New York, while all of boscia's on-camera talent was LA-repped and the shoots were in Orange County. Close-up and parts work for boscia appears to have been booked through a specialist agency, separately from everything else, and out of New York.

If that's how the video work was cast, it's plausibly how the packaging shoot was cast too. Which would explain why nothing turns up here; parts models are booked off portfolios, the work is anonymous by design, and they rarely publish the credit.

The ask: has anyone seen this packaging shoot on a parts modeling agency book, portfolio, or tearsheet, particularly a New York agency? A tearsheet credit is realistically the only thing that closes this.

For the wider picture, the main thread has the full campaign reconstruction: https://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/99099-who-are-the-modelsactresses-in-the-boscia-baby-soft-foot-peel-video/#findComment-6228395
