Discovered the piano when she was 3, discovered the world of Progressive Rock (especially Emerson Lake & Palmer) when she was 9, started flute within time, and guitar in her teens. At 16, her mother videotaped her doing the entire 21 minutes of the Tarkus suite and put it up on YouTube, and this would catch the attention of Keith Emerson himself!
