Tell me how it is to grow up in a family where your dad is a photographer? Constantly in front of the camera, terrible. My biggest annoyance is when my dad takes pictures of me while I eat. Mom will confirm my words (laughs). Your parents weren't surprised when you decided to go to modeling school? I was little, and my dad took me there himself, apparently because of inexperience. It was scary, but the opportunity is cool, they trusted my manager, she was able to convince them. Your first contract was in China. Share your impressions? I don't remember much. I remember that I really missed my friends and parents, Russian food. It was difficult to work, I was afraid of the Chinese, I did not speak English well, but this taught me independence. The happiest moment of the trip is the return home. I remember how I ran through the airport to my mother in tears of joy, and she stood with a stack of cheesecakes. Dad, of course, photographed this case. Which trip do you remember the most and why? Barcelona. The most beautiful city, the best agency, the most beautiful people around. It was a heavenly month! On modeling trips, you lived in apartments with other girls. How easy was it for you to get along? I am generally a non-conflict person, I always agreed with everyone, “yielded to the elders”. Therefore, the neighbors loved me, there were never quarrels, everyone lived peacefully. Girls, of course, sometimes shouted at each other because of everyday issues, but I think this is a matter of character. You have worked in Asia and Europe. What culture do you like best? Who is easier to work with? Definitely Europe, these are friendly and welcoming people with a sense of humor that I can understand. I'm still not used to Asians, strange behavior, strange jokes. Just watch a native Asian movie sometime, you'll understand. (I mean, you won't understand anything, laughs). Many models tend to go to Europe. How fundamental is the difference between working conditions and human relations in Europe and Asia? Europeans are lazy, smooth, and Asians are nimble, sharp. The desire of models for Europe is associated with a career ladder, in Europe you can become famous, but not in Asia. It's not about working conditions. The world of modeling is gradually coming to natural beauty standards. How is this treated in different countries? In America it's very good, in Europe it's normal, in Asia it's rather negative. But give this movement five years and everything will change for the better. Filming or screenings? What projects are you most in demand on? I like shows more, it's communication, dating and work easier. But for shows they pay much less than for filming. Due to my tall height and beautiful gait, I am more in demand on the catwalk, but I also work on the set. Anya, name your most successful work. With whom is it important to build relationships first of all in the host agency? The person who will always help out is my dad! And as for the host agency - you need to be friends with everyone, you can’t quarrel with anyone, it’s in your own interests to have good relations with the bookers.
