June 9, 200816 yr Coulthard enjoys 62nd podium finish David Coulthard surprised a few when the Red Bull driver finished in third position in Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix, especially since he was still without any championship points thus far. Coulthard was especially delighted to get a podium for his team. "The start was pretty hairy with all the cars bunched up round Turn 1 and Turn 2, but my goal was to get to the finish and get points, so to get my 62nd podium is a great result," said Coulthard. "This adds to the points Mark has already scored this season and helps us build our total in the Championship. "I'm delighted to get a podium for the team, they've had a lot of work on at the previous races and back at base. You can expect some unusual results here, so we fuelled it long; but we expected the incidents would occur on track, not in the pit lane. But, nonetheless, the strategy worked well and all credit to the engineers, mechanics and everyone back at Red Bull for all their hard work."

June 21, 200816 yr Red Bull happy with grid positionsRed Bull Racing is happy with its qualifying result after Mark Webber and David Coulthard went eighth and ninth fastest and will start seventh and eighth when Hamilton serves his ten place penalty."I'm pretty happy with that," said Webber. "Of course you always want a little bit more, but it could also have been worse for us, so it's okay. I had Jarno (Trulli) spinning in front of me on my first flying lap in Q3, so it all rested on my final one - but we got there. We've got both cars in the top ten, which is what want we wanted. Let's see what we can do from there tomorrow." "It's been very close with Renault and also our sister team this weekend, both have been looking very quick, but in the end we have both our cars in the top ten," said Coulthard. "I have a reasonable fuel load, so I'm pretty happy with my performance today." Team principal Christian Horner added, "A good recovery after a difficult Friday. Both drivers are much happier with the car today. It was a strong performance from both sides of the garage to qualify for Q3 and, lining up in what will become seventh and eighth tomorrow with Lewis' penalty, we think we're reasonably placed. We're looking forward to tomorrow's race."
