HURLEY GIRLY: Bar Refaeli, the swimsuit model and Leonardo DiCaprio's main squeeze, is raising her profile in new ads.

She is featured in a campaign for board sport brand Hurley International. Sporting bikinis, sheer Ts and denim shorts from next spring's lineup, Refaeli will show off her curves in the October issues of Elle, Nylon and other glossies. Shot in Brazil by David Mushegain, the images illustrate a theme of a young woman's journey and discovery.

Refaeli, who started dating DiCaprio about two years ago, previously emerged from the sea, Bond girl-style, in a cleavage-baring bodysuit in an ad with Sean "Diddy" Combs.

After revealing much more in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, she will show off her denim-clad booty in True Religion's coming fall campaign. Hurley isn't fretting about Refaeli's possible overexposure.

She will appear for the brand's spring 2009 runway show as part of Los Angeles Fashion Week in October. Refaeli, 23, might even lend a hand in designing some of Hurley's collections. "Anyone can hire a model," said Lyndsey Roach, Hurley's vice president of marketing for the young contemporary division. "We wanted to do something different. She lives this lifestyle."

But that doesn't mean Refaeli is packing her bags to move to the O.C., where Nike-owned Hurley is based. On the contrary, Hurley likes her jet-setting lifestyle, which will help introduce the company to a wider audience. For her part, Refaeli plans to take Hurley with her on the road. "I love that Hurley's beach culture lifestyle incorporates fashion and makes it look and feel sexy and effortless," Refaeli said. And maybe she'll score some boardshorts for Leonardo, too.

THanks LYE for the STYLE DASH link. I agree with all the captions for their photos.

Here's why Hurley wants Bar Refaeli

She always looks natural.

Even on the red carpet, she has an easygoing appeal.

She seems like fun.

They're selling a lifestyle, and Bar's smiling face and easy laugh makes her an obvious choice.

Oh yeah, and THOSE.

Her curves might have just a little to do with it.

She looks great when she's not all "done."

She can pull off the beach look because she doesn't need to have her hair "just so" in order to look spectacular.

But, she dolls up well, too.

Make no mistake -- she looks fabulous when she's really made up as well.
