Biography

Actress, comedienne and screenwriter Casey Rose Wilson was born on October 24, 1980 in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated from TC Williams High School in Alexandria in 1998, then from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and later studied acting at The Stella Adler Studio at New York University. Soon, she became a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT) in Los Angeles and New York. There, she wrote and performed the long-running “Rode Hard and Put Away Wet” sketch with her writing partner and best friend June Raphael. It was hailed as a "Critics Pick" by TimeOut New York and was also an official selection of the 2005 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. For that, Wilson and Raphael won the Emerging Comics of New York award for "Best Comedic Duo" in 2005. The two continued to work together, co-authoring the screenplay for the 2009 film Bride Wars, which starred Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson.

Casey Wilson was first seen on 2006’s Derek & Simon: A Bee and a Cigarette. Her next role was in For Your Consideration, before she was cast as Abby in The Definition of Sex. She later appeared on two episodes of MTV’s Human Giant, before she took on a role in The Brothers Solomon in 2007. The next year, she joined the cast of Saturday Night Live, entering the scene on the first episode after the Writer’s Guild of America Strike. She became known for her impersonations of Jennifer Aniston, Ginnifer Goodwin, Christina Hendricks, Alyson Reed, Katy Perry, Rachel Ray and Elizabeth Taylor. Wilson has also been seen on The Great Buck Howard, as well as on an April 2009 episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. That year, she completed filming the movie Julie & Julia, and began working on Five Killers.
