16 y/o Australian Newbie was scouted at Dolly Model Search by Chadwick Models

Initially scouted at a modelling competition, young Australian model, Anneka has been introduced by one of the nations leading modelling agencies. At a striking height of 180cm, we cannot wait for this red-headed beauty to take the runways by storm. In the meantime, we had a chat with the sixteen-year-old; here's what she had to say.

Tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm very crazy, weird, loud, fun, nerdy (doing maths for fun), active and organised but I can also be very shy around new people.

Where are you are and what are you doing today?

Today, I woke up at my friends house and watched The Kids Are Alright and Offspring, then went to our usual cafe, Scrambled, for the token bacon and egg roll and chocolate milkshake. Tonight, I am catching up with some primary school friends at my house. 

How were you discovered as a model?

I was scouted at Dolly Model Search.

 

 

What agency are you currently signed to?

Chadwick Models.

 

Tell us about your recent job?

My most recent job was a bridal shoot. I was walking around the city from Town Hall to Circular Quay, in the rain, in a wedding dress with a bouquet. It was so much fun and I kept getting people coming up to me saying "congratulations!" to which I would respond, "Thank you, but it's just a photo shoot. I'm not getting married." They'd were all very relieved, saying that I was way too young (laughs), It was very funny.

 

 

What is the best and worst thing about being in the modeling industry?

The best thing would definitely be getting your hair and make up done and the photo shoots are so much fun. The worst would be constantly seeing beautiful people that make me so self-conscious! That... and the massive blisters I get.

 

Describe your style?

I just really wear what I want. Cute dresses, Nike (love, love, love!), my Adidas jumper, big green coat, boots, jeans, shorts, cotton tops, boob tubes, funky rings.

 

Three products you can't live without?

My nikes, my boots and my rings.

 

 

What's the last song you listened to, when was it and why?

Life's a B*tch by Nas. It was yesterday on the way to the station, because it's just a good song to walk along to and I love Nas.

If you weren't modeling, what would you be doing?

Nothing (laughs). More school work maybe, but... probably not.

 

Where do you see yourself in the next 3 years?

Hopefully at Uni studying law. Still modelling, hopefully if things go well!
