May 4, 201312 yr A day in the life of supermodel Tian YiCurrently starring in Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2013 campaign, famous Chinese model Tian Yi invited us to follow her around for Global Blue at Paris Fashion Week for an insight into a day in the life of a model. Having walked 64 shows during the spring/summer 2013 fashion week calendar, Tian Yi invited us to follow her for one day during Paris Fashion Week autumn/winter 2013/14 for an insight into what a model goes through in a typical day. From castings and show rehearsals to hair and make-up and final runway shows, we were there to capture it all. A model’s day often starts early with back-to-back castings before official runway shows, which for Tian began with Dries Van Noten. After a busy day travelling around Paris and meeting lots of different people in quick succession, Tian ended the day backstage at the Thierry Mugler show, before taking to the catwalk in the designer’s new-season collection.
