October 15, 20168 yr BRITISH VOGUE - 11 JULY 2013 Why Edie Campbell Is Not Just A Pretty Face Edie Campbell has been awarded a first in her History of Art degree. The British model studied at The Courtauld Institute of Art, which forms part of the University of London. "It was very unexpected, and a huge relief, because I was a bit worried that I'd been working too much and my attendance wasn't great to say the least," Campbell told us. "I suspect someone might have counted up my marks incorrectly, but I'm not complaining!" It's been quite a year for the model - she is currently the face of Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander and Lanvin, and has another internationally renowned, but top secret, luxury campaign lined up. In April this year, she landed her first Vogue cover - an accolade that she described as both "bizarre and flattering". Currently represented by Viva London, she also turned journalist for VogueTV, interviewing Karl Lagerfeld at the opening of Chanel's Little Black Jacket exhibition in October 2012. So how will she use her new academic qualifications? "No idea - it might come in handy when I get a serious job later in life," she said. "Who knows? Either way it was quite interesting.

October 18, 20168 yr BRITISH VOGUE - 2 AUGUST 2013 Chic Eats: Fashion Recipes AS Vogue launches its definitive food guide, Vogue Eats, in the September issue, our minds have turned to culinary delights. We asked a selection of the industry's top names to tell us their personal fail-safe recipes to give us a little foodie inspiration. Edie Campbell: Aubergine Pasta “I’ve been working my way through Nigel Slater’s recipe book – the man is a genius. I quite fancy taking six months out to make a cookery book actually. My favourite food is Italian or anything with aubergine in it – such an underestimated vegetable. My signature dish is probably pasta with tomato sauce, aubergine and garlic.”
