Posted December 28, 201014 yr Álvaro Borja Morata Martín (born 23 October 1992 in Madrid) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Madrid CastillaSigned by Real Madrid on 2008 from Getafe CF youth teams, he started playing in the Juvenil C team. On November 2009 he started to alternate games between Juvenil C and Real Madrid C.[1] After a successful season with the Juvenil A team winning two youth titles and scoring 34 goals[2] on July 2010 he was promoted to Real Madrid Castilla. Later that month, Real Madrid's first team coach, José Mourinho, took the player alongside four teammates to a preseason tour in United States.[3]On 15 August 2010 Morata made his debut with Real Madrid Castilla in a friendly match against AD Alcorcón scoring the only goal in the 1–0 victory.[4] His league debut came on 29 August, in a 3–2 win over Coruxo,[5] and he scored his first official goal in a 1–1 draw against RSD Alcalá on 31 October.On 12 December 2010, Morata made his debut for the Real Madrid first team when he was brought on as a substitute for Ángel di María in the 88th minute in Real Madrid's 3-1 win against Real Zaragoza. Ten days later Morata made his debut in Copa del Rey when he was brought on as a substitute in the 77th minute. He was close to scoring his first goal, but instead his brilliant attempt bounced out for the 8-0 Pedro Leon goal.
