I like Opeth, I like Black Metal. Sounds good.

I hear a lot about these guys, everyone seems to like them.  Maybe I'll download some tunes by them.

Opeth are a great band, I can reccomend you some songs, but most of mine are their heavier moments.

In hindsight, I feel that Ghost Reveries isn't as good as Blackwater Park (the only other Opeth album I have, yet). But it's like comparing apples to oranges... Reveries is much more progressive; the overall sound of the album is much more complex, plus the band as individuals seem to have improved.

My problem is that somehow it just doesn't sound as passionate... it's chock full of awesome riffs and melodies, but for some reason, it sounds boring at times.

Don't get me wrong... I still love it. It's the album that introduced me to Opeth.
