Since then, she has gone on to many other great roles, including Paisajes (Landscapes), (1996), "A ciegas" (1997) y "Asfalto" (2000 ), all directed by Calparsoro, as well as "Amantes del Circulo Polar <Lovers From The Artic Circle>", "Abre los Ojos <Open Your Eyes>", and a small role in "Before Night Falls <Antes que anochezca>", with Javier Bardem. She is composer and singer in the pop group Najwajean, a duo composed by Najwa Nimri and Carlos Jean. 'No Blood' was their first CD. She went solo in 2001 with the album "Carefully". The second one, "Mayday", was released in the summer of 2003.
