Posted August 16, 200816 yr Luis Fonsi was born 15 April 1978 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He took an interest in music at a very young age; influenced by the popular performers of that time. When he was only 4 years old, Fonsi joined the prestigious Children's Choir of San Juan, even then demonstrating the vocal talents that would ultimately bring him success as a pop singer.
