Actor, singer, composer triple threat Carlos Ponce was born on September 4, 1972, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the town of Humicao. In 1986, Carlos and his family moved to Miami where he graduated from South Miami High School in 1990. His acting debut was on the Spanish language television station Univision's show "Hablando ;" this led to guest appearances on the Spanish soap opera's "Guadalupe" and "Sentimientos Ajeno." On America TV, Carlos is best known for his role as Carlos Rivera on the series "7th Heaven." His film roles include Luis in "Meet Me In Miami," Rodrigo in "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" and as Antonio in the motion picture "Just My Luck" with starlet Lindsey Lohan. In 1998, Emilio Estefan signed Carlos to a record contract, and his first album reached the #1 spot in the Latin Billboards for nine weeks. He also has six CDs out on release, some in English and some in Spanish. Carlos and his wife Veronica have four children and currently live in Miami, Fla.
