Andreea Dragoi

I've saw her in footage from some swimwear shows in the United States, so I decided to include this hybrid model/pageant contestant/athlete in the models section; it makes perfect sense for a collegiate swimmer to model swimwear.

DOB: 28 December 2002 (in Bucharest, Romania)

Height: 176 cm

Bust: 93 cm

Waist: 67 cm

Hips: 95 cm

Pageants: Won the 2022 Miss California U.S. Nation Pageant

She swims freestyle, individual medley and butterfly (look for Dragoi on the side of her swimming cap).

"I started modelling in 2019 over the summer right before I moved across the world to study in the United States." Her high school was the International School of Bucharest. Her freshman year at San Jose State University was 2021. She first began going fashion show in the U.S. in 2023 at New York. I think she has finished a Bachelor's degree now in psychology and kinesiolgy. I read she even had to work part time as a life guard while at college because visa apparently limit the ways in which a holder can obtain money, which is a terrible waste of time for such a talented young woman. "I have to get an on-campus job,” Dragoi said. “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh my god, she’s a lifeguard.’ But the thing is, I have no other choice. It’s the only job that I can do, being on campus, because of my visa. It’s hustle after hustle after hustle that would be made a lot easier if we could monetize our NIL.”"

Adreea from ~ 2023: "I study sports medicine, I compete in swimming and model for different brands/ events." From another site: "She qualified at the European Junior Championships and World Cup in 2019, she did really well on her end of high school exams, allowing her to come to San José State all while parlaying a blossoming modelling career in her native Romania into two pageant titles in her new home."

The final image has conveniently has all of the hottest swimmers from the San Jose State Spartans swimming state, but Andreea is the only one of the quartet who has also cultivated a modelling career.

An Youtube embed of a compilation of her walks from 2023 in New York:

A lower quality video; I'm now sure what show this is from. Need it in 4k.

Tia Goossen was in that show as well; I retained Tia bit in the finale as well in this edit.

I just found a 34 minute long interview with Andreea, from 2022 (Youtube embed):

Finally I discovered a site with a few HQ images from recent American swimwear shows. These are a significant upgrade from the usual downsized, over-compressed, and sometimes poorly edited images one finds on social media sites. The following are of the San Jose State Spartan at the recent Miami Swim Week, ~June 1st 2025 (found on Headline Planet):

A breakdown of Andreea's followers:

She's most popular with Romanians and Americans, as one would expect. She would be pleased that she is respected in her homeland, but I am uncertain how she feels about 80% of her followers (the grey ring) being male.

Andreea opened the Origin of Oceans show at New York swim week, 2025. Excellent:

In the finale, the model beside her is apparently Alexis Reed, then Shelby Sapp, then in the red bikini Georgia Wood... Karen Rodriguez in blue, grey & white is one model in from the (viewer's) left side. Besides Andreea, Karen is the only one I am somewhat familiar with.

The model pairing with Andreea in the Bikini beach show is Brooklyn Riley (I'm debating whether or not to create a thread for her)

A small assortment of show related photos. The first 2 are from Krissy King at a New York fashion week in 2023 (Andreea walked on just after Taylor Laffey, who is beside her in the 2nd BS pic, and short + cute Alison Bowles in the black bikini closed that show).

From the side she looks especially powerful🏋💪️‍, like a female version of Hercules🦁, or Achilles🦶 if we are doing Homeric references (her face probably isn't quite pretty enough to be a Helen, and her ethnicity is a bit to the north anyway). She was in a few Miami 2026 shows as well.

Mid 2025 San Jose State Uni 👩‍🎓 post-graduation photos

In the last she balances⚖️ all of her achievement sashes - psychology degree, student-athlete, Miss California US Nation, Miss San Jose US Nation, Miss Ambassador US Nation. And since she is a member of the San Jose State Spartans, my Grecian reference should have instead been Andreea as Queen Leonida, leading 299 burly Spartan warriors (or Amazons if you prefer) to repel the 2nd Persian incursion at Thermopylae (480 BC). Leonidas' family (Agiad dynasty) claimed to be descended from Hercules. I don't know if Andreea has watched the 2006 film "300", and what she would think about it, because she actually seems to be a Barbie girl 👱‍♀️🎀🤫🫢. But homeland is named after Rome & the Roman Empire.
