You're right and I agree.

I do think that the general public (and usually most publications) don't know the difference between a VS angel and regular model. The two are generally conflated and people think any model who has walked for VS is an angel. Plus, most media outlets write more about Kendall and the Hadids than they do even the more well-known angels (e.g. Candice, Adriana), so it makes sense for VS to take advantage of this situation leading up to show time. 

Edit: not saying it's fair, but it's strategic. I wish VS would make better use of the angels but they don't seem to know how to.

I mean, it makes sense from a marketing standpoint. If they dropped the names of most of the girls walking, no one would care or know who they are, but Kendall/Hadids are prominent which equals media attention which equals money.
