Oops sorry guys, I disappeared from this thread and didn't clarify-- Sara is a great model and is of course working hard, but there are plenty of models working hard. What I mean is that Sara is an exception to the rule in that she's not someone who worked the runway in order to get her name out there or had a designer or photographer putting her in a bunch of magazines, shows, etc. (I think this is probably why you don't see her in many covers or editorials.) Nonetheless, she gets considered for a lot of big campaigns that a girl with her height especially don't usually get considered for. At least to me, she's 'punching well above her weight'--which is a good thing!-- but it seems to be the sign of both a hard working model and a hard working agent getting her name considered for projects. At least in my opinion

I mean I think she'll be fine. Lily's on the cover of SI; Candice has worked with Max Factor; Doutzen basically hustled her way into doing H&M, does L'Oreal and recently shot for a Calvin Klein fragrance I believe; Karlie did a L'Oreal commercial. Pretty much all of these girls work with 'competing' brands all the time. If Maybelline bought out Adriana's contract (which I'm not sure has actually happened yet, but maybe) and VS didn't want to match the price, that's just business…? I'm just not sure why it would be a big deal.

Does no one remember that Doutzen has had a L'Oreal contract for years and is still an Angel? Or that Adriana used to have a Maybelline contract five years ago? If she is signing again with Maybelline, that should mean nothing for VS until someone says it does. If anything she just can't do their beauty line. I think they may have had Elsa shooting with Candice yesterday for the mainline.

The look is much better in proper lighting. She clearly had a look she was going for and took a risk, but I'm not obsessed with the styling (I actually think this is the one time her hair needed to be up) and the dress is a size too small. That face is everything though.

I'm going to attribute it to the fact that she's going through a divorce. But she looks really unhappy…crack a smile girl
