I think the people who picked that particular list of stylish men (looking at all the choices) were applauding men who have their own unique (and to some) style in how they present themselves. Sorry for not remembering who mentioned that the writer for the upcoming Leo bio was a writer for the UL tabloid News of the World , among others, but I also thought the same - this bio will be based mainly on heresay and gossip mixed with facts. Realistically, it's not the best of signs when a movie is moved from the much-coveted Christmas opening (and also awards contention probabilities) and for me, worse yet, are the differernt explanations coming out from WB about the reasons. If WB execs truly believe they want the widest audience for GG and that is the reason for the change, I don't see why it wouldn't have a wide audience at Christmas- season as opposed to the summer. I see the summer season as more for action films and blockbusters, not movies based on a Fitzgerald novel, albeit a 3-D one. I liked Romeo and Juliet quite a bit and think that movie was copied and set a trend for a number of films and I liked Moulin Rouge as well but Australia was a disaster - so for me the GG is still an unknown factor, but for right now, it's not looking so hot.

I am extremely sorry that Maeghan felt the need to delete her words or leave. My feeling was she was not a troll, set to cause arguments and anger. Even though I think these type of discussions belong on another board, I felt the need to express my thoughts after reading some of the responses. It is sad to read comments such as "gay people are also hot", even in humor. To have to even say that is pretty sad.There seems to be a line of thinking that if someone were gay, it is something to be ashamed of or something that needs to be defended. As far as Leo goes, I could care less if he is gay, bi, straight, asexual, whatever. It is sad that often times calling someone gay is the ultimate insult. Having followed Leo, I know that he has gay friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and has no problems with anyone's sexuality, just has he has no problems with someone's race or color of skin. That is the most important thing, not his sexual orientation.

yes,, katchitup, I have been lurking a while before I started posting not too long ago and I think it has been recently that things are different. I tried, as someone justed, to take a break from reading the board which I did, but when i did return, it was actually quite worse. It also really bothers me that instead of listening or hearing what is being said, some people respond with the same mantra of "Leo is not perfect" "censorship" "chill out". "it's just a joke", "we only make fun of those we love". But day in day out, on every little thing, nitpicking everything he does, that wears thin after a while, and I'm sure a number of people have tuned out and left.

I think the case is that, no, not everyone thinks that some things are "just jokes". Of course, people have the right to constantly make fun of Leo or ridicule on Leo if that's their wish. Just might want to consider that when someone refers to him, for example, (as someone did) as an "asshole", it might be hard for some people to think it is said in humor or in a loving way. Not everyone has a thick skin as you might and can be hurt by things said about him. Just a thought. Does your right to say whatever trump the fact that you are really making some people really upset? It's inevitable on any Leo board - the arguments between those who accuse others of thinking Leo is a PERFECT GOD and those who accuse others of thinking Leo is a LOSER, JERK, DOUCHE, CHEATER, ASSHOLE ETC ETC. It woulda been nice if things were different here. I know it can be different because I have been on other actors' fan boards; Leo fans must be a different breed,LOL.

If a third of the tone of some of the things that have been posted here have been posted on some other celebrity's board, they would have been called trolls or haters. I guess those other celebs, models, actors, must be perfect and have no gossip or true or not tweets ever written or tweeted about them, only Leo. I mean, really - Leo can only have guys invited to a party at his house when he is in a relationship?? People get to say or post anything they want on the basis of "Leo isn't perfect" or it's freedom of speech and we are just being honest and giving an opinion but when people try to give an opposite view (e.g., "positive" or giving him the benefit of the doubt), they are labeled Leo worshipers or Leo apoligizers. Where is the balance? None of us thinks Leo is perfect, who the hell would even want that? But some comments made recently especially, I thought I had come to a Leo haters board by mistake. Lastly, I believe the other board was created by the moderators for gossip, discussions about his morality (LOL) so I wish people would respect that and keep this board strictly for legitimate news and sightings and leave the "because we love Leo, we can bash him" posts to the other board. It's not a matter of hurting Leo - I really doubt it would bother him or he even cared(even the discussions regarding STDS,lol) - it's about respecting people who are fans who come to this board to read and share photos and news about him, safe from the bashings and hate and ridicule that accompany news/photos on other sites. I know I and others will be accused of trying to censor but it's really not about that. People can express all they want on the other board and people like me can just stay away from that one.
