Leo sighting Tuesday night at his girlfriend Camila's after party for Mickey and the Bear
http://hollywood-elsewhere.com/2019/11/mickeys-monkey-as-in-emotional-addiction/
QuoteThe screening happened at San Vicente Bungalows. There was a nice, not-too-crowded after-party. DiCaprio held court, and Indiewire‘s Eric Kohn and I spoke to him about several topics (the forthcoming Killers of the Flower Moon for director Martin Scorsese, the Democratic Presidential contenders, climate change) for a good…oh, 15 or even 20 minutes. Nobody was trying to muscle in, which was unexpected. Morrone was there also, of course — very gifted andgracious. Ditto screenwriter Eric Roth, director Phillip Noyce, Tobey Maguire, director Eli Roth, event maestro Colleen Camp, etc.
Jeff Wells mentioned in the comments what Leo talked about
QuoteSo what did DiCaprio say about Killers of the Flower Moon?
Jeffrey WellsHe told me about it excitedly, as if he was pitching it. He went through the basic history (a moralistic period thriller set in 1920s Oklahoma, oil-rich Native Americans being killed by resentful racist locals, early FBI steps in and unpeels the situation). It sounded terrific.

‘Irishman’ world premiere: A mob scene for Martin Scorsese’s mob masterpiece
NEW YORK —
Martin Scorsese introduced his new movie, “The Irishman,” three times Friday, held a press conference, sat through the entire, three-and-a-half hour film at its gala world premiere at the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and now finds himself wedged into a corner table at Central Park’s Tavern on the Green, dabbing his brow with a white linen napkin while surrounded by a horde of well-wishers.
Spike Lee greets Scorsese with a bear hug, telling him that “The Irishman” is a masterpiece. Asked what he liked about the movie, Lee bellowed, “It’s SCORSESE! Enough said.”
Directors Darren Aronofsky, David O. Russell, Kenneth Lonergan, Tamara Jenkins and Josh and Benny Safdie saw the movie, as did basketball star Kevin Durant, perhaps just to ingratiate himself with Brooklyn Nets fans and his new home. Also there: Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mike Myers and The Weeknd.
Leonardo DiCaprio, wearing a baseball cap so low on his forehead that it almost covers the entire upper half of his face, squeezes into the mass of humanity to pay his respects to his frequent collaborator, and then the actor’s gone like a ninja into the night, girlfriend Camila Morrone trailing behind. -
The Irishman’ Takes Bows At New York Film Festival World Premiere – Update
QuoteUPDATED at 12:15AM PT with reactions and detail. In The Irishman, mobbed-up characters in need of protection talk about needing “bodies” – shorthand slang for bodyguards – to watch their backs.
Plenty of bodies patrolled Friday’s after-party for director Martin Scorsese’s Netflix release, which had a high-energy world premiere at the New York Film Festival. The inner sanctum at Tavern on the Green, the festival’s annual party venue in Central Park, held cast members including Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Bobby Cannavale. Entrances were so tightly controlled that even legit VIPs were on the outside looking in and people in the room were holding their phones up to get snapshots of whoever was a few feet in front of them. The crush was such that Netflix content chief Ted Sarandos, upon managing to wriggle free, looked back and joked to Noah Baumbach (director of Netflix’s Marriage Story, the festival’s Centerpiece entry), “I’d better watch my wallet!”
Leonardo DiCaprio, also looking for a way out of the crush, pulled girlfriend Camila Morrone behind him through the restaurant’s kitchen toward a back exit, entourage in tow. Earlier in the evening, DiCaprio, whose re-teaming with Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon, is due to start production soon, let out a “whoop” when his frequent collaborator was introduced at Alice Tully Hall. He even made like a fan and snapped a photo of the director with his phone. -

Exclusive: Quentin Tarantino Film Going to Cannes, Sources Say Party Has Been Booked for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”
You know, in Cannes, it’s about the party, not just the film. So sources from the Cote d’Azur say it’s a go, Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is coming to the festival after all. It will play on Tuesday, May 21st, the 25th anniversary of “Pulp Fiction” in Cannes. The Croisette is abuzz with the likes of Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo DiCaprio walking the red carpet, having private parties, holding court at the Hotel du Cap. There was some question about the film making it since it wasn’t announced with the rest of the Cannes line up. The Festival needs this movie badly, with few other big stars coming, and even fewer American movies of note. The time between “Rocketman” on the first Tbursday, and “OUT” is filled with films in foreign languages and not a lot of glitter. So sacre bleu! Congratulations to Thierry Fremaux. He can get some sleep, at last. PS I’m hearing the party, which should be the hottest ticket of all, should be taking place at the Albane Terrace at the JW Marriott. Stay tuned…

Quentin Tarantino showed 5 minutes of footage in a Sony meeting
Motion Picture Group Chair Tom Rothman, brandishing the best animation Oscar that “Into the Spider-Verse” picked up at this year’s ceremony, took the podium to talk employees through a slate that includes “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and “Men in Black International.”
He then turned the podium over to Tarantino who showed five minutes from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” an ensemble look at Los Angeles in the 1960s that stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, and Brad Pitt. The footage highlighted each of the actors, as well as Al Pacino, who plays DiCaprio’s character’s agent. The film is expected to be a last-minute entry into this year’s Cannes Film Festival, but Tarantino was mum about any plans to bring the film to the South of France. Sony’s film studio has rebounded from several years at the bottom of the heap. The company’s recent hits include “Venom” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” and the 2019 slate looks promising, with box office analysts predicting that the Spider-Man sequel and a Jumanji follow-up will perform well with audiences. -
They were sitting together
QuoteWondering where Leo DiCaprio, his girlfriend Camila Morrone, and Robert De Niro were last night? They were sitting together at Balthazar in Soho to celebrate the Tribeca Film Festival and Chanel’s 14th annual artists dinner — along with about 130 other celebrities, artists, and notables including Katie Holmes, Angela Bassett, Alexander Skarsgård, and Lala Anthony (wearing barrettes!) “This is the dinner of the festival,” I heard someone say inside the restaurant. It’s likely whoever said it was somehow notable, but I couldn’t tell because my view was obscured by a tower of shrimp and oysters and two Chanel tweed suits. If the inside of Balthazar looks stylish on any given day, last night it was kicked up a notch due to the plethora of Chanel. Diane Kruger wore biker shorts, Jill Kargman paired her mother’s Chanel velvet corset from the 1980s with her own fishnet top, and there was more than one beach-ball bag on display. Possible couple Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson arrived together but had their photos taken separately.

Hi Everyone ☺
Leo was in Montana about 2 weeks ago. I believe the reason for his visit had something to do with his girlfriend Camila since she is currently working in Montana.
Kate Whittle@kettlemt
looking at celebrities in Montana reminds me that rich people pay a buttload of money to do shit I can do basically anytime

You probably rock the shades and ball cap better too. That’s the look Leonardo DiCaprio was rocking in the store a couple weeks ago, Paws Up flunky in tow.
