This is from Chuck's account. I think it's Lukas' 35th birthday, at Coachella. Awww.

At Work - probably for Transcendence

  3. I was surprised he was in LA as well. However he'll apparently be in Wally Pfister's Transcendence  which started shooting in LA recently, if I'm not mistaken, so maybe he couldn't get away because of that. Or maybe he'll just see Gatsby in Cannes, because that's better or something (I think it's shown in Cannes, right?).

That's kind of interesting: 10 actors cut out off a Terrence Malick movie: http://blogs.indiewi...eacted-20130410

    Actors: Bill Pullman, Lukas Haas

    Film: "The Thin Red Line"

How Badly Were Their Roles Affected: Excised Completely

    Bitterness Level: 0/10 lemons

What Happened & How They Reacted: Along with Rourke, only Bill Pullman and Lukas Haas definitely had filmed roles cut from the movie -- photos of both of them on set exist. However it doesn’t seem like their parts were ever huge, and as supporting players in a cast so stacked with A-listers, perhaps they weren't wholly surprised not to make the final cut. Either way, neither has gone on record in any major way about their disgruntlement, a sign of either class or resignation.

That film is good, but it's rather depressing what was lost... Poor Adrian Brody!

  5. I think he quit cigars. Judging from pictures he gave up cigarettes for cigars ages ago. He was also not smoking most of last year, just e-cigs.

Yeah, probably not him, the hat just tripped me, also because he is wearing what could be the same hat in the stopsmoking pic and he was apparently at that concert (he was reposting a friend's video of it), but if it doesn't look like him...

I found these Coachella pics! ... from 2012

Oh HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUKAS HAAS!! in Euro time.

  6. I gather Lukas stopped smoking.

    Cute ass.

Is that Lukas with Leo (at the Snoop Dogg concerts last week in Vegas)? I don't recognize him at all, but with the hat and the apparent Leonardo DiCaprio...

  7. Thank you, Trixie87! Such cute pics! I love how they are displaying exactly the same emotion in all of these, especially in the first and third pic. :D

Short video of Lukas coming from dinner with friends and trying not to talk with the paps about not having seen something on March 29: STARTING AT 4:17!! I tried to have it start at 4:17 automatically, but I don't think that worked.

  8. Glad you're enjoying! :)

Have you ever heard him talk about being interested in photography as like an art form he persues...like writing music or acting??

I haven't heard him say anything about that.. Maybe he'll make films, he did say he's been writing a movie here: The fervently charming actor talks about a career that spans almost three decades in front of the camera :)http://thenewcinemam.../21/lukas-haas/ -

  9. Meth Head review: http://www.examiner....and-its-effects

Haas gives Kyle some great characteristics which make him vulnerable and sympathetic regardless of the mistakes he makes. It is sometimes painful to watch his meth addicted performance because of the glimpses of normality Haas portrays in the very beginning of the movie. The scenes near the very end are the most heart wrenching of Haas’s portrayal. He is alone and weakening and the actor really delivers the fear and panic without being unnecessarily over the top.

It will next be shown at Gasparilla Film Fest in Florida on March 22.

Posted by his father: Lukas testing his new (built in 1921) grand piano.

World Premiere/ Post-screening Q&A with director and cast.

    Wonder if he'll show up!

    Blake Berris interview: http://michaelfairma...ves/2013/01/30/

Meth Head is the one I am very excited to see your performance in. I hear it is riveting!

    BLAKE:

Meth Head will be premiering in the DC Independent Film Festival. I will be going out there for that in March. I totally play a meth head. Oh, my God, playing this role was amazing. We were so excited that Lukas Haas came on, and he is a great actor. It is hard-core stuff as an actor, and that is the stuff that turns me on. I like stuff that is a challenge, and I love comedy. But, I love hard-core drama, and that is what this is. In the film, I am the one who gets Lukas’ character into meth. I play a guy who goes into the clubs and is sort of a small time dealer. But then we befriend each other, and then we start prostituting ourselves, and it evolves from there.

    Iiinteresting!

  11. Congratulations!! So glad he won, he's amazing as Dr King Schultz! (Wikipedia got a little overexcited though, claiming he won the Oscar, a bunch of other awards *and* the Academy Award for Django Unchained! :D)
