  1. I know I've gone off topic but in this case it's warranted: as everyone probably knows Teri Schiavo has died this morning(PBUH) and all self-delusion and petty politics aside, anyone with an iota of intuition knows how grave a human rights violation has been commited. Though an autopsy has been planned, it should be pretty obvious that any findings which could implicate the state's negligence will be ignored and if those in question have already gone to such extraneous lengths to deprive the Schindlers and Teri of justice so far, candid results are unlikely. Write to :

    The Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation

    4615 Gulf Blvd - #104/103

    St Petersburg Beach, FL 33706

and express to the family the need for an independent pathologist to conduct the examination. Write to your local legislators, jurists, news agencies, etc., etc. Some of you may know people who now people who might be of service, and while I don't encourage anything illegal do find the strenghth and courage within yourselves to ACT: far too many have done the exact opposite. As brain damage could strike any of us or a loved one at anytime, I don't think I need to emphasis that any one of us could be in Teri's shoes one day.

  2. I'm not sure what I'm doing here, but anyway...

You guys don't use those electric shavers then? The razor is better?

All a matter of personal preference. Ingrown hair is a risk with either of the two; reducing this is very dependent upon your preparation techniques ;) Electrics provide a slightly cleaner shave generally but are hell on your flesh over the long haul  A regular razor requires one usually to put in extra effort, but sometimes grants more maneuverability in the tough spots.

    My own technique:

Uhhhm...I don't use any one specifically, but always try to have face wet for a least 5-8 min. prior, sometimes shaving after a shower if time isn't available.

  3. In light of the impending state-sponsored execution of Terri Schivo merely for being disabled, a documentary chronicling this entire outrage is in order. Possible title...hmmm, would "Angry Enough to Eat Nails" cut it!!!:

  4. Did Dessler look alot like Carrie Fisher the other night? Seriously, imagine her with those weird buns in her beautifull tresses. The resemblenace is almost scary. I was half-expecting Tony to injure himself during the coarse of the episode and to start screaming, "Leia, Leia"....

  5. Now that Driscoll is gone, Tony was head of CTU temporarily and now the new head of CTU is gonna be Michelle, Tony ex!!!

Was it just me or was Dessler's return not obvious the week prior, when, in the trailer, Heller says to Almeida "We're bringing in someone to replace Dessler"? Seriously, did someone think that it would be Kim or something  Also, doesn't Michelle look a HELL of a lot different; I actually found myself wondering if that was really her for a few moments :o

  6. yeah, i know that, but do you know what they did with her or where she went after she was fired?

I believe she was arrested and taken in to custody. Supposedly this season is the series's swan song so unless the writers are planning to reinject her during the coming hours, that was probably curtains for her.

  7. I remember watching that movie when I was a kid pukeachu. I remember it being really good but I haven't seen it in about 10 years, so who knows how much it holds up now.

My only reason for mentioning was that it cropped up on Sci-Fi the other day; was pretty asinine, perhaps more so than usual in edited form. As a child however, I liked it also

  8. i hope paris hilton dies in the film, i mean they have to make her die, everyone hates her lol...well most people

Yeah, her and Chad Micheal Murray; he's quite annoying in his own right also  EC still looks gorgeous, and this will probably earn her a decent paycheck ala.Sarah Polley in Dawn of the Dead

  9. While I can empahtize with both sides of this "controversy", the fact is that no problem would exist if these record companies and movie moguls would agree to let these websites charge a small monthly fee(say $5)and then share in the royalites. Hate to be cynical, but I can't help but think that all this legal wrangling is aimed more at saving their grossly exorbiant lifestyles than preserving "artistic merit " of any kind. And as someone wrote previously, 70% of this crap that infests our cinemas every year ain't worth $6-$8

Just a music downloader personally; most of the downloaded flicks I've seen were of poor quality.

  10. Anybody seen it or want to take a look  Not a big Craven fan myself, but I do enjoy a good, rip-em-up themed werewolf flick ala.The Howling every now and then. Shooting for this weekend :fun:
