OMG! I just found MY Identical sarcastic twin WOOOOO! SARCASM TWINS! I'm adoring the Kirk Lazarus/Tropic Thunder reference. I agree with everyone, he is very deserving of it. I'll be honest, I think he is actually few of the actors these days who do deserve it... but he doesn't need a shiny gold statue to tell him how good of an actor he is! He's outstanding, he knows it, the world knows it... it'd be so incredible if he could get one and I'm 100% he'll receive one in lifetime and I have everything crossed in hoping he will, but I don't like the way people are thinking it's the 'be all and end all' of acting. It isn't, I'm not surprised he didn't get a nomination just for the fact... well, I know the track record of "the academy and Leo". I feel like I'm talking out of my ass right now, but I doubt he's going home crying himself to sleep every night then waking up and crying into his waffles and coffee over the fact he hasn't won one yet. I'm guessing he is gutted which I would be too, but the way the internet and media are going on, they're making out he'll be in an insane asylum in a few years time in a straight jacket, rocking backwards and forwards in a fucking corner and banging his head against a padded wall whaling over how he hasn't got an Oscar. He has nothing to be ashamed of because he hasn't won one, doesn't make him any less of an actor. Wow, I just read that back and it sounds as if I'm saying he'll never get one. Which I'm not.
