OMG! I just found MY Identical sarcastic twin WOOOOO! SARCASM TWINS! I'm adoring the Kirk Lazarus/Tropic Thunder reference. I agree with everyone, he is very deserving of it. I'll be honest, I think he is actually few of the actors these days who do deserve it... but he doesn't need a shiny gold statue to tell him how good of an actor he is! He's outstanding, he knows it, the world knows it... it'd be so incredible if he could get one and I'm 100% he'll receive one in lifetime and I have everything crossed in hoping he will, but I don't like the way people are thinking it's the 'be all and end all' of acting. It isn't, I'm not surprised he didn't get a nomination just for the fact... well, I know the track record of "the academy and Leo". I feel like I'm talking out of my ass right now, but I doubt he's going home crying himself to sleep every night then waking up and crying into his waffles and coffee over the fact he hasn't won one yet. I'm guessing he is gutted which I would be too, but the way the internet and media are going on, they're making out he'll be in an insane asylum in a few years time in a straight jacket, rocking backwards and forwards in a fucking corner and banging his head against a padded wall whaling over how he hasn't got an Oscar. He has nothing to be ashamed of because he hasn't won one, doesn't make him any less of an actor. Wow, I just read that back and it sounds as if I'm saying he'll never get one. Which I'm not. I don't really know how to end this rant. So erm, picture Jack Dawson. That is all. I also have a feeling I may be alone in saying all of that... ... I will just transcribe into english a text I sent to Barbie and that sums up how I feel right now.... Sorry if there are any errors... I'll tell you one thing I've learned .. we just move the trees which bear us fruits, for those who dont give us anything...they are useless ... right? Leo is a tree that bears fruits, a rare thing to see, and I've seen that many people want to see him on the bottom or even that he disappears from this industry. That's more than clear to us ... Leo deals with great and powerful people, he lives undercover in environmental issues and has the power to change things not only in cinema but also in our world. He is a great environmentalist, a great actor and a man of great beauty ... and that bothers the others you know? Dont you see what they did with Michael Jackson? The guy just wanted to help and do charity and was labeled as a pedophile and crazy. The media is rotten friend ... they want to put in our head that Leo is still an immature and reckless and that he's getting old (as if anyone would ever grow old) ... and what is the problem of having wrinkles .... it must be 'cause these wrinkles are beautiful in him! The attitude of George Clooney at the Golden Globes came only to prove what we all already knew ... that Leo is persecuted and discriminated. The truth is that Leo is exceptional as an actor,maybe the better thing in HOLLYWOOD AND MAYBE THE BEST ACTOR IN THE WORLD. And that's it! I'm sick of these assholes and jealous men ... tired of this capitalist industry and tired of politics in these awards in this place called Hollywood, who once deserved respect,but unfortunately nowadays no longer deserves more!
