Well...I liked his performance in J.Edgar a lot. There are two things we need to think in this case,when we say it wasnt his best performance,are we talking about the movie or about his performance in this same movie? Because sometimes we need to separate one thing from the other. One thing was the movie that in my opinion was weak and tedious,I agree. The other thing was Leo's work in it and in my point of view was excellent. If I had to choose his weakest work, I would pick "The Man in the Iron Mask" and only. The truth is that it's difficult to mention a weaker performance in Leo's case because his level is too high.

Yeah I agree! Leomania was something huge and intense! I still remember those days and I was a Leomaniac! But besides all that hysteria, I always managed to look beyond that,I always knew Leo was a great actor,much more than a pretty boy. So, I always believed in his talent...the problem is that besides being beautiful and talented, he was also young at the time and sometimes that means too much for some people,they cant stand it. I think he wasnt ready to start a family with her at that time. He wanted some more time with her,yeah ok...he's still that way. But sometimes I think it was only a matter of years for him to marry Gisele,really. But she was desperate to marry him and I understand her and I dont blame her. Barilace I need to agree with you. Gisele was first Leo's love for sure. Maybe he has not loved a woman like her still today (I'm almost sure about it.) but Gisele was really special for him. And I'm sure he was the man that Gisele loved the most in her life as well,she only married Tom cause she wanted to start a family and he seemed to be the guy she was looking for to start it.
