Today I saw a comment from a fan and I thought it quite interesting,would like to share it with you. She was replyin' a guy who spoke ill of Leo. After a young man, successful, talented and on top heterosexual is the envy, and why not, hatred of many ignorant and macho men to discharge their frustrations, men like you, dear Francisco. Since Titanic, many envious not only joke about the sexuality of Leo which is odd because no gossip magazines put some suspicions about it, they always used to show him with a woman, but they doubt of his talent leaving behind movies like This Boy's life, Gilbert Grape, among others, with magnificent performances. Did you know: Gisele Bundchen? Do you Know Bar Rafaeli (Ukrainian model even more beautiful than Gisele)? NO?! He is a grown man, handsome, intelligent and fine with his heterosexuality. Dear Francisco, I think those who have to examine their own sexuality, YOU! Yeah, unfortunately Hoover was never a looker. They did a great job with Judi Dench's makeup too... she really looks like she could be his mother. Hoover will be a good meaty drama. We'll have to wait for Gatsby for some eye candy. And then he'll destroy it again for Calvin Candie in Django. Actually, I've heard as ugly a person as the Candie character is, he may be quite suave in appearance. Still haven't read the script, but we shall see.. Hey, Pami. I read this stupid comment on the site and I sent a response to the guy. Comment unnecessary and unfortunate. It seems that Leo would refuse this role for fear that their sexuality be questioned again... people don't know anything about him. I'm registered on this site and I'm always reading the articles about Leo. A critic detonated Inception there, the worst criticism of his life, so that everyone who commented said that he was wrong and that the film is one of the best they have ever seen. Why I love Leonardo DiCaprio Yes, I do get offended when people bash Leonardo DiCaprio. Not really because I feel obligated to defend him because I love him so much, but because people just make big deals out of the stupidest things. No one ever rants about his acting being bad. All people rant about is how he gained weight and looks old. How superficial are we that we only see people for their appearances? Most people recognize his incredible talent, but they feel the need to comment on his looks. Quite frankly, I dont give a shit if you think he is fat or ugly. His looks mean absolutely nothing to me. He is one of the most incredible people that I have ever seen. First of all, he is a phenomenal actor. He can portray any type of character: a mentally retarded boy, a heroin addict, a grieving husband (one he does quite well haha), the lovable, romantic hero, the badass, yet vulnerable cop, the ex-mercenary, the mentally ill man, the abused child, the Shakespearean hero, the deceptive teenager. The list could go on and on. He puts his entire heart and soul into every role that he plays. He loses himself in every character. He is everything that a great actor should be, and everything that aspiring actors wish to be. Not only is his acting ability fantastic, but his overall personality is too. He is the fifth richest actor in the world. His annual income is $28 million, yet he has never let it get to him. He never thinks too highly of himself. He never acts narcissistic and cocky. When people compliment him, he always responds as humbly as possible. He doesnt even spend most of his money on himself. His house isnt as extravagant as it could be. He donates the majority of his money to charities to help the planet and the environment. He raises awareness about global warming and the extinction of tigers and the abusing of sharks to obtain shark fins. He devotes his free time (which he barely has any of in the first place) to helping the world. He is also very smart. A lot of actors arent too intelligent, considering smarts arent exactly a necessary thing in the entertainment industry. But Leo is different. One can tell just by the way he words his sentences and the way he responds to people that he is an incredibly intelligent guy. This man has absolutely everything going for him. I respect him beyond belief, and I love him more than life itself. I will always love him, even when he is old and wrinkly and cannot go to the bathroom by himself. Even when I am ninety years old, I will be telling my great-grandchildren about this wonderful man. So dont even bother trying to shake my love for Leonardo DiCaprio, because it will never, ever happen.
