I wish it was clearer but oh well... About the magazines issue, it's hard for even American actresses to get a Vogue cover, it's very selective and Anna has to like you but once you're in, you're in. I get people's complaints about models not being on covers anymore but with American Vogue it's all about sales and moving copies. I loveeee models but no-one is going to buy a cover with a random Eastern European 14-yr old with a name they can't pronounce on the cover. However, Anna more than services the models with lots of editorials in the magazines. Bottomline is, the magazines have to sell enough to raise ads so they can't continue especially American Vogue which basically keeps all the other Vogues in business. Now the models have their Vogue Italian, Vogue Paris and basically all the other international editions of Vogue. Once in a while they get a multi-model cover or someone like Liya or Giselle on the cover too. Besides, American Vogue should be viewed more as a lifestyle magazine than fashion, IMO. VP, VI, Pop, Love, Wonderland, i-D etc are more fashion. Now if they start putting reality stars on the cover like Kim Kardashian, Jersey Shore etc... then we've got a problem. That's my opinion.

Heyyyy I agree with you but at the same time, she was getting really overexposed at some point. I know she did a photoshoot with Elle earlier in the year that was never used so maybe her team also decided to cut their losses with the publicity once they realized GL was going to be a turkey. Besides, it does seems like they are now more focused on making her more of an international name seeing that most of her mag covers have been foreign.

FNO is Fashion's Night Out. It's an event organized by Anna Wintour and basically Vogue promoting the fashion industry especially retail, each retail/fashion house organizes its own event promoting people to come and buy from them like this year Lara Stone is going to be at CK, Victoria's Secret will organize a meet and greet, Chanel Iman will Dj at Sunglass hut etc. to draw people to come and shop. It was started when the recession hit and retail numbers were falling but now it's become an annual event. Like last year, Anna organized the biggest fashion show ever (really), to commemorate the start of FNO. TIFF is the Toronto International Film Festival. Blake has a movie premiering there this year (Hick) so she has to go (she also went last year for Ben Affleck's The Town). It's huge in Hollywood because it's more or less the start of awards season and also it helps a lot of filmmakers sell their films (especially indies) to a North American/International distributor so it can be see in theaters.

She's also on the cover of 2 other Japanese magazines this month. According to some tweets I read (can't find them now), one said she was on the cover of 5 different magazines in Japan this month and the other person was a marketing/PR person who said that the Lady Gaga and Blake Lively are the biggest female Hollywood exports in Japanese markets right now. Anyways, enough with the sightings and all now that we know where she is, all I want now is CASTING NEWS! She should be done with Savages in some weeks and I can't wait to see what she's cast in next.

It would have happened again this summer, what with her cooking and French lesson hideaway, had she not started the relationship with Leo.
