“The kids love visiting the set. My son, Hermes, can almost work the camera, and my daughter, Helena, loves the hair-and-makeup trailer,” Kelly told OK!. “Blake and Leighton offer to babysit, which is sweet, but they’re quite busy.”

We don't ever see articles like these when her co-stars are cast in projects so why pick on her? The director chose her which means he saw something in her that would be a fit for his project.

Seriously, I swear I've never seen people so eager to see someone fail than when it comes to Blake, why would you feel the need to piss on someone's success? I don't get it.

And this just makes me want her to be more, and more, and more successful.

I wonder how many more seasons GG has left in them? It getting to five seasons is quite impressive. Anyways, Judging from her interviews she looks at acting as a craft and is constantly trying to improve at it.. so I sometimes wonder if Blake doesn't get bored of playing this character. In addition, it takes up a good chunk of her schedule and i'm sure it gets in the way of some potential movie projects she has an interest in/ makes it hectic to balance with other movies.. So i'm just curious to know if she actually truly still loves playing Serena or she just feels obligated to keep doing it. Is she contracted for a certain amount of seasons? Anyone know what her salary might be?

If there's any justice in the world, this would be its last season. The show seems to have lost its luster since Season 2 and is just running on fumes right now. Blake herself has mentioned how playing the same character for 10 months has made her hungry for other opportunities, characters etc. I know she's missed out on a bunch of roles because of GG's draconian schedule and although she's basically the only cast member that hasn't talked about leaving the show, you can tell right now she's just going through the motions. It certainly doesn't help that the writing for her character is so weak and inconsistent.

According to TVGuide, she gets $60,000 per episode for GG and she's one of the highest paid on the show. It's so silly because at the height of The Hills fame LC got 75K while Heidi/Audrina got 65K, even Snooki gets paid more per episode than the entire cast of GG :yuckky:

^You're absolutely right, I'm watching the show while running a twitter search on her on my phone, it is very comforting to see all that positivity It does help that she's absolutely glowing and more animated than she's ever been in the season premiere (love can do that to ya )

Lol, I it and I totally and completely agree with you. Brad Pitt's acting talent is very overrated, I would wish for The Ides of March to flop too but Leo produced it so I'll just transfer that to The Descendants <_<.

I don't know why people like to say Leo wants an Oscar badly. He's so chill I don't think he cares either way, he just turns in excellent work each time. Honestly, I think we fans want it a lot more than him.

Yeah she went with Penn only once on the red carpet, at the MET 2008 Gala. She took her mom to the Emmys, her dad to the Golden Globes, went by herself to The Town's 2 premieres, and of course took her whole big family to Green Lantern's premiere .

Hi everybody. I can say that I am already a big fan of Blake, becouse I saw for the first time Gossip Girl before 3-4 days. I will say that before these 4 days I have...a negative opinion about the series, but now everything changed. She is very beautiful. I watched many interviews with her and my impression are that she is very smart...very funny and very kind person.So now my favourite actresses are already three- Blake, Olivia and Charlize!

Imo I think its better if they don't walk the red carpet etc together. Although I would LOVE them to, I think its out of character for either them plus it would raise even more suspicions about their relationship. It would give the ppl who say that he's just with her as an Oscar campaigning ploy like George Clooney and Stacy. Plus it would be odd from them to go from zero pda to suddenly walking the red carpet and proper flaunting it.

I think (and I prefer) that she may go to a few of the J Edgar and Oscar parties but won't actually walk the RC. To me it would mean more if she they were together at parties/behind the scenes rather than walking the carpet together. Clooney, Pitt etc are all obviously campaigning hard - but I don't think Leo needs to; its not in his character imo.

I would love some pda from them though irl; cos we haven't had an intimate shot of them since the summer. Maybe a little hand holding or dare I say it a KISS! Even if its just on the cheek lol, Ill take what I can get. I just wish he would loosen up a bit more.

I totally agree, people are already (wrongly and stupidly) saying their relationship is PR so that won't help matters, even *I* would be suspicious since it would be out of character for BOTH of them. And yeah, we see right through you Clooney (his choice in companions non-withstanding)!
