  1. ^No worries. US Weekly is generally reliable but that doesn't mean they aren't above making up stuff to fill the week's issue/get page hits or that they don't get it wrong sometimes for that matter. I was just showing you a history of how full of BS they are when it comes to RR, even stating as recently as two weeks ago that he was with Olivia Wilde and just last week that he and Blake were just friends.

On the issue of the bed not being warm from Leo, I love Leo but he too has been linked to not one but two models since the news broke that they had split. His PR denied it, and we all believe it. If we can give him the benefit of the doubt, let's extend that to Blake as well.

I generally get defensive because, Blake is always catching some flack from one quarter or the other (you mentioned Leighton stans, rabid as they are just constitute a fraction of Blake haters). She just can't seem to catch a break (esp online) generally when by all indications she is a nice, gracious person and a hard worker. I expect it to get worse now that she's single since that's when all the BS seems to come out the most.

Also since we're keeping it real, Ryan Reynolds, though a very nice man, is not A-List and there's frankly nothing he can do for Blake's career that she hasn't, can't or won't do for herself.

  2. Uhm

The contradictions in People Magazine and US Weekly Magazine vis a vis Blake & Ryan

In Leo's forum Blakes rep allegedly tells People says they are just friends, US says opposite

Blake is not coming out of this looking stellar I have to say <_<

US Weekly said in just last week's issue that Blake and Ryan were only friends/co-stars. They published just 2 weeks ago that Ryan had moved on from Sandra B. with Olivia Wilde, they published in January that Ryan and Sandra were getting close over their mutual heartbreaks and were dating (even spending a "hot" new year's eve together), they published in July that Ryan was dating Charlize. These were all slapped Exclusive!. Yet she's the one "not coming out looking stellar"? What about Ryan Reynolds? What about US Weekly?

Her reps have stated once enough that they're just friends, I think one denial that anything is going on is more than enough (and it's actually 2 if you count Gossip Cop). She can't fret and overreact over every false rumor the media puts out there.

  3. ^I think the writers have been reading us here at Bellazon, it's info from twitter that we on this board already knew. They just added some fluff from an "insider" to pad it up. ;)

I don't like Blake being tabloid fodder one bit :yuckky: like how she's on this week's cover issues of Grazia and OK! for "stealing an A-lister's man" :( And even though it's all untrue, I still don't like seeing her like that, it could actually hurt her career.

  4. WB seems pretty set on having Leo on one of their projects or the other. Sounds very interesting and intense though and Leo may get to do an English accent (has he ever attempted one before?)

Warner Bros Buys Spec Script About Math Genius Alan Turing For Leonardo Di Caprio

EXCLUSIVE: To anyone with an interest in those Enigma codebreakers who helped win WWII and the math geniuses whose work led to the creation of the earliest computers, then the name Alan Turing holds quite a lot of fascination. This British historical figure most prominent from 1940 through 1955 is also the subject of a big spec script sale today. First-time screenwriter Graham Moore’s The Imitation Game was snapped up by Warner Bros in a 7-figure deal. I’ve learned that the studio outbid half a dozen indie companies because Leonardo Di Caprio ”has the inside track” to play the lead and was chasing the project. But so far no talent is attached. I hear Ron Howard is interested in directing.

First-time producers Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky owned the rights to Andrew Hodges’ definitive biography Alan Turing: The Enigma and worked with Moore for more than a year to get the script just right. Moore is also a first-time novelist and his crime fiction debut The Sherlockian, filled with Conan Doyle lore, received a rave review in The New York Times by Janet Maslin. People I trust tell me The Imitation Game is the best script they’ve read in years — and they read a lot of scripts. The life story of this English mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst, computer scientist, criminally prosecuted homosexual, and tortured soul who committed suicide by eating a cyanide-laced apple has it all. (Reportedly, Steve Jobs named his company “Apple” as a tribute to Turing.) “Think The King’s Speech without the huge uplifting ending,” a source tells me. I’m told that CAA’s J.P. Evans, manager Peter Safran, and lawyer Alan Wertheimer made today’s sale happen.

Blake Lively's Tiresome "Gossip Girl" Workday

She usually so well put together, but Blake Lively looked a bit exhausted as she took to the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Tuesday (October 11).

To keep warm, the Serena van der Woodsen actress sported a robe over the show’s wardrobe as she hopped into a chauffeured van, cell phone in hand.

And though Blake seems to be doing just fine since her split from Leonardo DiCaprio, one may wonder if she’s gotten wind that her ex-beau is now rumored to be dating not one, but two models.

Last week, Leo was linked to 21-year-old Aussie model Alyce Crawford, but days later the “Inception” star was spotted with 20-year-old Kendal Schuler.

Her hair seems back to normal.

    We're Obsessed With... Blake Lively

    post-52328-0-1446091631-65453_thumb.jpg

Back in the Titanic days, my childhood friend and I had a very well thought out plan, where we would both be married to Leonardo DiCaprio and we would share him between the two of us. I got holidays, weekends and Mondays. So, you can imagine how shocked I was to hear he was dating Blake Lively. I wasn't her biggest fan at first, but recently I've started to turn around.

Blake Lively actually just broke up with Leo and her poise and composure in the wake of the break up is something I admire. She's one of the few young Hollywood starlets that has been able to avoid the 'trashy train' by acting with class and maturity.

    post-52328-0-1446091631-68319_thumb.jpg

She is well known to be a favourite of Anna Wintour, she's been on the cover of Vogue and made Vogue's Best Dressed List. Being stamped with Anna Wintour's seal of approval is good enough for me! She debuted her new 70's inspired curly hair do and I love her fresh faced, glam look.

We hear she's also been shacking up with Ryan Reynolds of late! If style and sophistication aren't enough to make you fall in love with Blake then her luck in men certainly is! She pulls in the hotties- that is one girl I'd love to add in circle of friends. For all these reasons, Blake Lively is our 'We're Obsessed With' girl of the week!

Is Blake Lively one of your girl crushes as well? Let us know by leaving us a comment!

  8. Halolulu you're so scarce nowadays, nice to see you around these parts.

About the publicist thing, there's only so much her publicist can deny before it becomes "the lady doth protest too much". She can't keep reacting to every rumor about her and neither does Ryan too.

  9. It's still a ways off, but I think we're going to be seeing our girl in Cannes this coming May with Savages, it's just a hunch based on the fact that Oliver premiered his last movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps there last year, and Savages has a similar opening day to Wall Street 2.

Cannes always has the best red carpet looks, so it would be doubly nice because:

    1) We'll see her on the Cannes red carpet for the first time

    2) On her own accord

    3) We know whatever she wears, she's gonna STUN. (obvi...)

I don't know, I'm just so eager to see her on the red carpet again. We haven't had anything since the GL premiere :(

  10. I'm not really sure what is going on with Ryan Reynolds. But whatever it is, I've got to say wrong Ryan, Blake. I have this unending love for Gosling and did like that brief moment they had last year.

:wave:Sannei; YES to Blake and Gosling, thats my current otp even though I did love her with Leo.

The more I hear of the rumours of Blake and Reynolds, the more I hate it. I dont really care if they hooked up during last week, I just dont want them together as a couple.

Glad to see her out and about, she looks SO good  Hope we get some movie/Chanel news soon though.

I admit I hate the idea of her and Ryan Reynolds. I don't think and certainly hope there's nothing going on there.

I am curious if this relationship is like a love one, or another Sandra-Ryan friendship one? Cause he seems to have alot of female friends (I can see why  )

I think it's the latter tbh. I still think she has something to do in Boston (cooking lessons perhaps?) since she's been going every weekend since the Emmys (or it could even before since that's the only one we know of). Ryan Reynolds does have a lot of lady friends too.

  11. Oliver Stones talks about Savages:

Stone Doing Stoners: Director Oliver Stone talks about upcoming Marihuana

Doing press work during the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, Italy, Director Oliver Stone (Wall Street, Natural Born Killers, Platoon, JFK) gave some interesting background on his new movie “Savages”. With shooting to start in three and a half weeks, the movie features a top cast including Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Blake Lively and Benicio Del Toro.

“California has legalized marihuana for medical purposes. As a result very high grade weed is grown in southern California, some of the best in the world in my personal opinion, Very fine quality. They really work at it. They’re good at it.”

“To have a nice brand O.G. LA (original gangster LA) is hard work. It’s also expensive, very expensive. It’s like creating a fine wine. We learned how to do that from other countries, now we make great marihuana. We have great marihuana, better than anywhere in the world. It used to be Thai weed, or afghan, now it’s Southern California.”

“The movie is about those people and people from Mexico who sell their weed everywhere. The Mexican cartels are very aggressive, and competitive with southern Californians. It seems there would be a coming conflict between the two groups, The Mexicans trying to take over the Californian business.”

    Also:

Oliver Stone, who was born into an affluent family, said he was working on his new feature film "Savages", set to start production in July. Among the film's stars will be Blake Lively ("The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee") and Aaron Johnson ("Kick-Ass"). "Savages" is "a fun, but dangerous [and] wry" movie set in Southern California amidst the drug culture, "with a Mexican drug cartel coming to visit," remarked Mr. Stone.

  12. ^Lol

Her hair reminds me of this too:

    post-52328-0-1446091585-20755_thumb.jpg

That's probably why it looks good to me, because it looks so natural.

  13. ^Thanks, she looks fab!

    Salma briefly talks about Savages:

Salma Hayek Had To Talk Tough To Win Oliver Stone Movie Role

Actress Salma Hayek had to prove she was tough enough to play the head of a drug cartel in Oliver Stone's upcoming movie Savages, because the director feared motherhood had turned her "all soft".

The Frida star has scaled down her work load since becoming a mother to four-year-old daughter Valentina and settling down with her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, and her comfortable home life had Stone worried she wasn't right for the leading role in the crime thriller.

Hayek tells Redbook magazine, "I'm playing the queen of a drug cartel in an Oliver Stone film. He asked if I'd gone 'all soft' because I'm a mother. I said, 'Yes, but I can be the devil if I need to, because after all, I'm an actress.'"

Savages also stars John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro and Blake Lively.
