    Yasmeen Ghauri - Canada's 1990's Supermodel

    Yasmeen Ghauri was Canada's most powerful contribution

    to the great 1990's supermodel era. Amazingly beautiful, poised

    and strong, sexy and fascinating. Yasmeen was always my

    first reason to watch those fashion shows.

    This is a new edit of my earlier video of Yasmeen...3 minutes longer

    and more candid interview.

    Jeisa...very pretty...a soft Heart...a modest personality...

    pretty much a young man's dream-girl come true...

    When Jeisa first started she was shy and honest, and now a

    seasoned model Jeisa has conformed herself to keeping designers

    happy. Oh well...pretty much all a-board models do try to

    keep that high-ride goin as long as they can.

    This clip is compiled from the works of mathaeus123 I found

    on-line. He's a fellow capper and does some very good work.

    The audio track is my own choice...the song is titled 'They'

    and written/sung by a lovely welch girl named Jem (Jemma Griffiths).

    This video is the 1990's fashion model Karen Mulder.

    For you which may have watched some fashion shows,

    Karen was among that elite group which began the

    thing called 'supermodels'. Karen Mulder was a

    spell-binding dutch beauty and an immediate best

    favourite for me, along with a canadian model named

    Yasmeen Ghauri.

    In the late 80's some Tv networks, like american CNN

    show named 'Style' and canada's show 'Fashion Television'

    began running fashion shows and this brought gorgeous

    sexy 20ish models into our homes. Now, their faces and

    names could be used to market a multitude of women's

    products, and models began asking for and got very large

    salaries. Supermodels were used for magazine covers and

    editorials and tv ads, and Supermodel in effect meant

    super profits for the corps. (though some years ago that

    changed to using hollywood celebs instead...they have

    'personality' and higher status.)

    In my opinion, the original first supermodel was

    Claudia Schiffer. For black women, Naomi Campbell.

    (It's also interesting for us guys to note the mid-late

    80's were also the beginning of a huge growth in the

    women's lingerie industry. It was due in largest part

    to the fashion industry having the most beautiful young

    20ish models wear lingerie in their shows, and the

    TV networks brought that top Q 'soft-core porn' into

    our homes. Us guys went wild, and the ladies immediately

    realised a little special 'gift-wrapping' made for a

    much happier husband and boyfriend ! ) :)
