My key allows me to export avi to image sequence. If u can already do that, you don't need to get a key anymore. Key or not key, QT can't extract a part of an mpeg video.

Well done aznman007! It's a matter with quicktime. I guess you're trying to edit mpeg videos, right? You need an mpeg splitter to choose your selection and then export it with QT. I gave some links previously in this thread. To get QT pro, you have to buy a key. There's no installer for that version. You donwload and install QT and then upgrade to pro thanks to a Serial Number. Which OS are you running? If you're under Windows you can use BSplayer with the Neo's method.
