What's with the sudden Toni bashing over at tfs? It started after the VS show. Maybe some of them are worried that she might be in the running for an Angel spot or they are mad that she is getting more work than their favourite weird looking no name model?
LOL. The Vogue Germany December 2012 thread has some really mean stuff on right??? They complain about the colour scheme, the dress, the eyes, the fact that its Toni... she's got that generic beauty/lifestyle that makes a lot of people jealous but I think its more to do with that particular cover shot. The VS stuff is just silly... she doesn't decide on the look or the make-up so why so mad??? VS could do a lot lot worse than Toni.
I'm certain she'll be an "Angel" one day considering her generic appeal and the fact that VS are expanding globally and Germany has Europe's largest and strongest economy. Not a lot of non-native English speaking models are as fluent in English as she is (she claims to speak very good French too). I would say she'll have to wait until after Karlie gets one, but will her high fashion credentials and 'House of Style' be enough to force VS to give-in to dropping their "healthy-looking" model image??? The jury is out. Lets not forget Joan who also provides ethnic diversity (very important) and is also in the public eye with 'House of Style'. We'll see if there a legitimate "Trinity" in the next few years.
To be honest I don't know if she has a chance of becoming an Angel, I'm just guessing what is going on in those people's minds. The VS thread is even more ridiculous. Some of the posters just seem very bitter to me.

That is very interesting. But I wonder how much of the sales are due to the models and how much due to the design. In my opinion the designer collection would have still been a hit, no matter who wore it - simply because it was so beautiful. But of course Barbara looked gorgeous in it, too.
Of course the designer collection was going to do well, but they could of given it to anyone and the choose to give it to Babs over the main girls (something they haven't done since Susan Eldridge worked for theme). Perhaps that's a hint at Barbara actually getting her wings and will be staying around?
Interesting enough they also put Sara S in the designer collection, but one in a couple of photos. Perhaps VS is testing the water to see if she has that "it" factor. Honestly at this point I don't think so but we'll see.
Has Bregje done anything else with VS other then the one line with Behati and Toni (VS show doesn't count)?

I was reading Forbes and came across this little tidbit about models for VS and why some girls stick around and possibly become angels, and why some really don't go anywhere.

They can measure a girl's potential in cold hard cash."Some girls sell incredibly well," says Chief Marketing Officer Edward Razek. Computers track each photograph in every catalog and online. Not surprisingly, girls who move merchandise end up moving up the corporate ladder to supermodeldom.
Might be the reason girls like Emily D, Cintia, Anna S, Victoria L, Jessica C, Arlenis, Ginta, Kim C,Sasha P and the like only show up once, or twice and then fade into obscurity. They just aren't appealing to the public.
Also could explain why Candice is around (not to say she's not beautiful, and wouldn't sell well, but spread the love to the other models). She's in 75% of the bloody pictures lol, of course she's going to show decent numbers,

I think in Karlie's case her body looks a bit wierd in lingerie, because her torso is rather straight without curves. Candice is really skinny too, but it looks much better on her, because she is also very curvy. And I guess Karlie's face is not as classicaly attractive as the faces of other VS models.
That said, I don't think there is too much danger of girls being influenced to become too skinny. If you look at the comments on VS videos or posts outside of model forums, the models who get bashed/called ugly the most are: Karlie, Anja, Chanel - the really skinny girls.

I am astounded by the amount of cultural insensitivity and ignorance or even perhaps ARROGANCE.
If they feel that way. They are entitled to it. VS OBVIOUSLY knows what they did was wrong, because they issued an apology and are taking the costume out of the CBS airing.
Just because you think it's silly, doesn't mean it's right.
Are you Native? Or are you the group lining up behind the Native who's offended and waving the banner saying it's culturally insensitive?
I think this is the important point. If there are Native Americans who feel offended, then they should remove the outfit from the tape.
