    Leonardo DiCaprio Butters Up Blake Lively’s Dad With A Birthday Present!

    Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have been on Hollywood’s romance radar since they first hooked up in May and it looks like it’s getting more and more serious!

    Leonardo DiCaprio, 36, is notorious for only dating supermodels. So when he hooked up with Gossip Girl actress, 24-year-old Blake Lively, more than a few eyebrows were raised with speculation that their whirlwind romance was just another Tinseltown publicity stunt. Well, turns out they’re the real deal and Leo isn’t just spending time with Blake, he’s all about bonding with her dad too!

    Although Leo missed celebrating Blake’s 24th birthday due to his Great Gatsby filming schedule in Australia, he was in Los Angeles Aug. 14 at celebrity hotspot, Madeo, to surprise Blake’s father, Ernie, with an extravagant coloring book for his birthday. An insider told Us Weekly, “Blake’s father loved it.”

    It’s been reported that Leo loves spending time with Blake’s family, which is very out of character for the normally reserved and private actor. Just one more sign that the two lovebirds could be heading down the aisle in the not-so-distant future!

    “[They] are so smitten it’s crazy,” another source spilled. “I bet they get engaged in the next six months!”

    Lively was born Ernest W. Brown in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1979, he married talent manager Elaine Lively and took her name. They are the parents of Blake Lively and Eric Lively, and he is stepfather of her children from her previous marriage Lori Lively, Robyn Lively, and Jason Lively. He is probably best known for his roles in Passenger 57 and in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

    Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively linked arms yesterday for a walk in LA! The couple has been spending their free time together during their latest trip to California, though last night was all work for Blake. Blake Lively wore an orange leather Gucci dress to the Teen Choice Awards, where she picked up the honor for choice actress in a drama series. Her small screen work has also been keeping her busy on the West Coast. Blake's doing double duty between shooting Gossip Girl near Hollywood and also logging time on filming the movie Savages. Leonardo is playing the role of supportive boyfriend while Blake shuttles between sets, though soon he'll be the one logging long hours when he gets down to work on The Great Gatsby.

    Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio are apparently going really strong and really long. Even though recent reports stated that Lively and DiCaprio's relationship was on the brink of falling apart, they certainly aren't acting that way. Blake and Leonardo were recently spotted lunching together at Pink Taco and now, a new report says they have been spending some much needed alone time together.

    A source stated, "Leo and Blake are completely loved up. He really likes the fact that she has a mind of her own. Blake is a huge star in her own right and is quite happy to bat him down if she isn't impressed."

    Apparently, Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have locked themselves away from the world for some sex-y fun in his CA mansion! Nothing says loving like quality time with the one you adore! Fortunately, it seems that both Blake and Leonardo really adore each other.

    Leonardo Dicaprio Dumped Blake Lively

    According to sources, Lively flew out to Italy to meet the Inception actor’s mom, who “couldn’t stand” the 23-year-old.

    A close friend explained to Now magazine: “Blake’s a total mess. She tried hard to impress Leo’s mom when they met but Irmelin couldn’t stand her.

    “She told Leo that Blake was far too up herself for him. Blake was nervous so she did talk a lot. But his mom says all she did was talk about Gossip Girl and how she’s a Chanel model.

    “Leo listens to his mom and the fact that she didn’t like her has put him off.”

    Humble Beginnings

    Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles, California. Throughout his acting career he has appeared in more than 27 movies and six TV shows. As a child he filmed several commercials and made guest appearances on TV shows like Roseanne and Parenthood. His big break came in 1991 (he was 17-years-old) when he was cast as Luke – a homeless boy – in the popular show Growing Pains. It was during this time that he was able to make Hollywood connections and focus on shaping his acting skills. From there Leo started his quick climb to fame, starring alongside Hollywood greats like Johnny Depp, Gene Hackman and Kevin Connolly.

    Teen Heartthrob

    In the late 1990s Leo co-starred with Claire Danes in Romeo + Juliet, a modern interpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic play. His romantic performance won the hearts of girls all across the nation, and he settled into his role as America’s heartthrob. In 1997 Leo took on his most swoon-worthy role yet, as Jack Dawson in Titanic. The film recounts the tragic sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912. Leo played a poor artist that falls in love with one of the ship’s wealthier guests. Titanic was a box office success, becoming the highest grossing film of all time.
