    why do people have problem with their weight, some people are naturally thin... shes just like my little brother and my mom. i read some where that Candice doesn't eat because she is busy... that's totally my like brother, can eat nothing for 3 days then eat allot one day and not eat again for a week. and if the doctors say your healthy... then who cares. girls are just so jealous. so your naturally fat, and even on a 500 calories diet you'd still be fatter then Candice, deal with it! but leave the poor girl alone. on another note, having children is a big deal. no girl is really ready in age 22 to be a parent!

    Candice has come out saying that she loses weight easily when she is busy because she doesn't have time to work out and keep muscles up. I wonder what do you guys think of that?

    Personally, I believe her, but I also believe she's not interested in putting effort in to keep her weight up because she gets hired and paid either way. Why would anyone put in extra time and effort for nothing? They wouldn't because there is no motivation. So I believe with her, the weight loss was unintentional, but she's not motivated to gain it back either.

    I feel sorry for her just because of the double standard society has towards thin people. I've read comments about her where people are saying she's "disgusting." I mean, I like her better with more weight too, but she's hardly disgusting. And then the, "She's sick, she needs therapy," comments. It's like, my God, she just dropped 15 pounds. That's well within the normal range of fluctuating. When people put on 15 pounds, it's all, "Oh it's normal, she's still healthy, 15 pounds isn't a big deal!" But it's made to be a huge deal in her case. It seems that it is somehow personally offensive to people that she happened to drop 15 pounds because she was busy and didn't have time to eat right. As if the body is only healthy at a certain weight and not a range of weights, and as if she's eating nothing instead of just not as well as she could. Makes me so irritated that people are so one-sided and oblivious.

    I wish people would just say they didn't like her weight loss and leave it at that and not draw health into and thus prove how ignorant they are.

    Ugh I hate the picture they used of her. Out of the millions of mind-boggling photos they could have used, they used the most mediocre one they could find. It doesn't even show her great WHR, one of her best traits! (or her legs!) :yuckky:

    That's usually the case. :) People say that babies usually look like their dads when they are born so that the dad can be sure that it is his; then the mom genes kick in later. Beautiful baby either way. He's going to be such a lady killa when he grows up.

    I think you are right. We see her as perfect but we are not in her shoes, we don't know how she sees herself.

    I'm pretty sure though, if I was her, I'd spend all day staring at myself in the mirror. Just sayin'. :blink:

    Oh I think everyone has the peach fuzz! I think it's bizzare to not have it! I think it looks more prominant in the image just because it's so high quality and "sharp"...it creates noise around the teeny hairs making them look longer and bigger...like some kind of digital mascara!

    Candy if you are reading this, remember that you became famous because you are just that gorgeous. You may feel the need to be "more high fashion," but, in reality, you are beyond high fashion. You don't have to meet their needs, they need to make room for you.

    Yes, it dampens the appetite (it's not a hunger stopper but it dampens your hunger a little bit). I'm at her age and I've smoked for some time, too. You can loose weight through smoking but your lungs are in a bad condition. And according to my ex-boyfriend: Smokers stinks and kissing a smoker is disgusting. (Today I can confirm this.)

    :p I hope you're joking! There are other ways to keep hunger in check and lose weight without having to put so many cancer-causing and addictive chemicals in your body. Sadly when you start smoking and when you reach the weight you would like to be, you can't exactly just give up cigs. It's literally the worst thing, I don't understand why anyone picks up the habit these days considering how much we now know about them and all the horror stories.

    It's a shame Candy smokes. I don't see her as a chain smoker yet though; or at least, it doesn't show.

    I know there are rules about weight discussion, but, if it's okay, I'd like to say I am NOT happy with her weight loss. Because of the way her body was, with long limbs, she was able to carry weight spectacularly and look really slim at the same time, but curvy, like a picture-perfect human being. That was my biggest appeal to her...she looked like a human ideal, like, the perfection of genetics. Now she just looks skinny like everyone else...she lost that special something. (shrug).

    Oh my God! That other girl doesn't hold a candle to Candice and she's on the lead?! How is that fair in any way?! :dontgetit:

    Apparently some people sat there and voted for Camilla over and over again thousands of times, so she "won." But the site is holding a revote where you can only vote once per IP address, and all of a sudden Candice is majorly leading.

    Imagine Camilla actually beating Candice? Not possible for anyone with eyes. :blink:

    Actually I want to correct myself. I don't think Candice has no personality. I'm sure she's a really sweet girl in person. I just don't think she's good at conveying it to strangers and on camera. I think she needs to stop relying so much on her fantabulous figure and work on that. With a catchy personality and her looks, she could easily be the next true supermodel.

    Now the models. I'm not going to go through all of them, because I can't remember all of them and some are kind of hard to differentiate.

    1) Adriana: First, thank God she didn't get a spray tan. Remember her awful tan in 08? Anyway, that face is mesmerizing. And I think she is doing a good job as a "lead Angel." She clearly seems and acts like a veteran compared to all the new girls. I don't mind her pointing and blowing kisses, because I think some level of fan interaction is needed in a show like this, and who better to do it than her? At least with her it seems natural, and not, "Oh I don't know what else to do, *blow kiss*."

    2) Candice: Oh Candice. Probably the model I was most looking forward to seeing (HUGE fan). But it seems like from the pre-show promotions to the actual show, my fears from a few years back are being confirmed. The more and more we get to know her, the more I see that she has no personality whatsoever. I think when you're that hot and you're constantly reminded, you begin to depend solely on your looks and not on your modeling ability and personality, so the latter two become lackluster. I feel like if I had to interview her, I would be incredibly disappointed. It's sad because she's easily the hottest Angel that VS has ever had. To me, that white outfit in Heavenly Bodies was the best one in the show because her body looked so spectacular in it. But she's not my favorite model this year at all.

    I wish she had worn the harp wings.

    3) Alessandra: The biggest surprise. In the last year I basically felt like she's past her prime for VS. Nevermind. She looked amazing on the show, worked the runway, and made me fall in love with her all over again. Unlike Candice, she has such a personality and presence that even though she isn't as attractive as Candice, my eyes go to her. She demands attention, and so she gets it.

    4) Rosie: My new favorite model. She is so cute. Her voice, her body, her everything. I agree with Adriana that she is the "sex bomb." Something about her walk is just so sexy and sultry. It does help that she consistently seems to have a great sense of humor.

    5) Isabeli: Oh my God. The closing segment in Game On couldn't have been more perfect. One of my favorite closings ever. That confidence and that body! It was like Naomi doing her thing...just owning the runway. I don't think any of the other models could have pulled that off as well as she did.

    56 Erin: Another surprise. I pretty much disliked her as a "Supermodel." She started to grow on a lot of people a few months back, and now I've caught Erin fever as well. Her opening for Game On was really cute and I liked how she actually came across as an Angel-Boxer, without looking stupid, which she easily could have done.

    7) Behati: Just adorable. She worked one of the worst outfits this year and actually convinced me that no, Shey, it's a GOOD outfit.

    8), 9), 10), 11), 12): Anja, Chanel, and Lily didn't do anything for me at all. Julia as well for that matter (unlike the majority of people I did NOT want her cast, please bring back Angela). Jessica Stam is a disappointment...I love her but she looked like she's coming down from a high. I don't know if it's her fault or styling, but that is the impression I got and it doesn't help that she's competing with a lot of fresh-faced beauties.

    13), 14): I also didn't see the big fuss about KK or Emanuela. KK didn't really wow me at all. Her walk wasn't like it used to be, and neither is her body. Emanuela looked amazing but I didn't feel like her walk was as great as people rave about. It seems to me like she simply got to walk at a very dramatic moment. Isabeli is an example of someone who took advantage of a special event on the runway and used it to her advantage. For Emanuela's walk, it wasn't so much of her doing anything, as it was circumstantial.

    15), 16): I remember liking Maryna and Magdalena so I hope to see them in future shows.

    So I really liked this show. I have to say I watched it on HD on TV, which I think is important because watching it on the internet wasn't the same. You don't get to see all the little details and how glittery everything is.

    The only things that I truly despised was the music for the Country segment (BORING), and how quick the editing was. Although, I don't see a real solution to the latter. When you have that many girls modelling, it's kind of hard to give more than a few seconds to each one. I think next year, the show should run for 2 hours, not one. That way we don't miss anything, because while I wanted to see more of each girl walking, I don't want the background stuff cut either.

    Reading comments on TFS, I can see a lot of people didn't like Candice's monologue thing, but I liked it. I felt like she was reading a personal diary entry to us, so it worked.

    However, I wish at least a part of that time was devoted to the fantasy bra, which wasn't mentioned, at ALL. Not even by the narrator. Why would you make a 2 million bra, put in your show, and not even mention it? And the outfit was kind of bland as well. They should have given Adri Chanel's wings, although I think they would have had to claw them out of her hands first.

    My favorite segments: Game On, followed by Wild Things, followed by Tough Love.

    Least favorite segments: Heavenly Bodies and PINK. Those didn't do much for me, even though Heavenly Bodies was the segment I was most looking forward to.

    Choreography was great and saved this show from a lot of the models who were just boring. I don't mean to be rude, but a lot of the new girls are just not that entertaining to watch. It was mostly the VS veterans that kept the energy up, with the dancers filling in the rest.

    Is this for real? The actual "Angel" status and none of this Supermodel nonsense? No Chanel? I AM SO EXCITED. Out of the original 5-6 that were "Supermodels" Candice and Erin are definetly two I wanted to go all the way. I also wanted to see Rosie crowned as Angel but it makes sense that she wasn't, her being busy with her movie and all.

    I've watched press events and situations where people are asking her questions as she comes across as a bit of an airhead. YES I realize that we're not seeing everything, and she is doubtless being asked the same questions over and over, but in comparison to some of the other girls I do personally think that at this time Candice is their weakest spokesmodel. She's lovely to look at, but I don't think she's quite at the level where she can adequately sell a product by speaking.

    I've noticed this, and I'm a long-time Candy fan. In some interviews, she comes across really friendly and does it well, but in others, it's like she completely blanks out and doesn't know what to say. I saw the same thing with Miranda. I think neither of them can really think of something to say without being told what to talk about. I think Candice is shy and gets intimidated by the cameras easily. In that recent interview of her Erin, Adriana and someone else, Candice barely said a word. I think maybe this attitude is coming across as "cold" and "rude" and "stuck-up" to some people (especially those who already don't like her), but I think in reality she's just not comfortable talking to the public. I hope if she becomes VS's spokesperson, they will train her out of that.

    Also CoutureChic is not exactly the most unbiased person on the subject, as she/he has repeatedly stated their dislike of Candice for silly reasons like, "VS uses her too much so I'm sick of her."

    I don't know, maybe Candice is actually like that, but then why would so many photographers say what a pleasure she is to work with? I think it's just a case of maybe she said a few off things to rude crew members while she was frustrated with a difficult shoot. All that says to me is that she's human.

    But sadly, with rumors like these, it doesn't matter if you have proof or not. You simply say them and the damage is already done.

    If VS knows what's good for them she won't be.

    GF is an AWFUL spokesmodel, she can't get through ONE simple line without having to redo it 10 times (I'm not exaggerating) along with giving tons of attitude to the crew, including shushing them, arguing with them and etc. I've seen footage of her doing this and she is ANYTHING but charming.

    I agree. These kinds of rumors get spread against every model (Adriana most recently). I think it's probably something that is being taken out of context and exaggerated. I would like to see the footage and judge for myself, because the general opinion of Candice is that she's a shy and sweet girl...this coming from photographers like Russell and others who have worked with her.

    Just stopping by to say I love Candice's harp outfit.

    I think it's fitting that she's going to wear it, because she always reminded me of an angel. Not VS angel, but an angel, like in the clouds, with a harp and stuff. And now she's going to wear not just one, but two, on her back! Super cool.

    +1 on the outfits being horrible. Let's just hope those will be the worst of the bunch. Just who do they bring in to design this stuff?

    If the materials were any good, these outfits would look infinitely better. It's the cheap fabric they've been using since 06.

    Not just that. It seems that overall, every year since then, the outfits have just gotten more and more outrageous and thoughtless. Like they were designed at the last minute by someone who still thinks macaroni, glitter glue and feathers make a project good.

    At least in 2006 they seemed to have some general look they were going for and the crappy fabrics at least matched each other.

    All I really remember of last year is a bunch of rubber plastic, feathers, and a hot A.D.D. mess. It was like, "Oh, this is a cute outfit. But you know what would make it better? MORE FEATHERS. :drool: FEATHERS HERE AND HERE AND HERE!" And then Ale's opening outfit? :yuckky: :yuckky: :yuckky:

    I do like the outfit Anne is wearing, and Candice's harp thing actually looks kind of cool/interesting.

    Erin and Lindsay don't look like.

    they are like the new alessandra and izabel i remember when people use to say that they look like, and can't tell them apart. I do agree with ale and iza look like, but i could tell them apart.

    To me they look alike. I can still tell them apart, but from a distance or from the back it may be harder to. I agree that Ale and Izabel look alike also, but I can tell them apart too. The only two models who I think look like they could be fraternal twins would be Izabel and Isabeli. I still have problems figuting out who's who. :blink:

    For me, Candice, Adriana, Doutzen, Miranda and Rosie are perfect for VS. It's not just about how they look. They're all good looking with a few (minor) flaws, but the flaws are overshadowed by the sexyness their presence exudes. I can't and don't want to imagine VS without any one of those 5 gone.

    Heidi and Marisa are too old-looking in my opinion. Heidi looked amazing in her prime but all good things come to an end and in the past few years her presence at the shows was more forced than welcome.

    Chanel I feel is a bit too thin/shapeless for the kind of image I think VS is trying to convey. I'm not saying she's too thin to model or anything like that, but she is too thin for raw sexual appeal.

    Lindsey and Erin look a lot alike, and I don't see why VS would use both. Out of the two, I completely prefer Lindsey. She is a lot more beautiful in my opinion. Something about Erin is just off and irks me. She also seems a lot more dull.

    Alessandra I used to LOVE. She used to be my favorite out of all of them. But I'm completely over her. Every picture I see of her now is just not attractive to me. I can't tell if it's something she's doing to herself or just aging, but either way, I'm sick of being in denial and pretending that she's still got "it" when she doesn't.

    Behati I've always liked in PINK and hope she continues in that route.

    I'd also like to see more Selita, Oluchi, and Ana BB in VS. Selita being fired from VS was bizarre to me more than anything. I know she is not a good model and she has an awful walk, but hell, for most of the shows, Doutzen used to clomp her way down the runway. Nothing that a few runway classes couldn't fix.
